    Good but broke a wheel

Really easy to assemble but wheel broke the first time I moved it. Just snapped right off. Smaller than expected but pretty nice.

    I mean it’sss alright…

I bought this when I moved into my first house, as ikea was pretty much void of cheap furniture during move in week in my college city. The pros: it’s pretty solid, compared to the cheap plywood from ikea. That’s pretty much it, as you get what you pay for. I bought it as it was the only thing between a night stand and a desk drawer that I could find on here, so I’m happy for what it is. Cons: the instructions were decently hard to follow. I’m no carpenter, but I hold myself to building an ikea desk in under an hour. For them, the lack of words somehow helps as it’s easy to follow for the simplest of minds. These ones, damn I had a headache multiple times as I feel like the instructions skip over a good amount of the small details. I was looking for the file cabinet track thing around my house for like 20 minutes until I realized that it’s detachable. No mention of it. Another con is that all of the screws are the ones that have hook binders. Compared to ikeas hybrid systems with the pegs as well, this makes it heavier. Not by a ton, but noticeable. Okay, the biggest thing that I hate about this thing is the way it’s packed. I’ve been cleaning styrofoam off of my floor for like 3 days now. I had to scrub white stuff off my clothes and the thing itself for like 10 minutes because the black wood was almost stained by it. In my opinion, I think this is a good piece of furniture for anyone moving in for the cheap. Go ahead if you don’t have any other better preferences…

Nice looking cabinet, pretty nice for the price!

This Wood 3 Drawer Mobile Cabinet (AHDG014) cabinet was decently priced, and very nice looking, among the options available on . It comes very well protected in its box, is easily assembled by one person with easy to read instructions (but PAY ATTENTION, CHECK TWICE!) , and took me about an hour. I used wood glue on all the adjoining surfaces, but the connectors are well made and fit perfectly with a nice snug closure. It completed into a sturdy, attractive and functional cabinet. The drawers move smoothly and fit nicely. The folder frame can be set up for 8x10 American standard or A4, and can be switched back and forth if needed. All in all a great cabinet, great price, and I would buy it again. Mine had a couple of relatively minor issues. The white drawer runners come in two bundles held together with red tape in a plastic bag. One of them had been crushed in its bag, before it had been put into the parts box, which was undamaged. Nothing else in the parts box was damaged. This crushing damaged one of the support wheels, as pictured. Interestingly this did not interfere, so far, with the function of the cabinet drawer. I bent the parts back into shape and they installed easily. One of the side panels had a pretty aggressive scrape on the edge, pictured. This is on the side top and not visible in my use. The tip warning sticker doesnt come off cleanly, some GOO-BE-GONE left on accidentally overnight cleaned it right up. I plan to contact the seller for a replacement.

    What I expected

I had some problems with the ball bearings on the bottom drawer slide. I just removed the slide attachment from the drawer and Ill use it that way. I not going to put that much weight in the bottom drawer anyway.

    A lot of screws...

Overall, this seems like a good purchase, other than perhaps an argument for getting an electric screwdriver or drill. There were 114 things to screw in. The bulk of the screws (the railing for the shelves on the sides) werent really started so you had to apply a good deal of pressure to get them in. Other than that, the instructions were adequate but not great. There were a couple of times when I was wondering if I was putting things in the wrong direction and I actually mounted the wheels wrong (I didnt put the locking wheels on the front). There were also holes started that werent used and an allen wrench was provided but not actually used anywhere. I probably would have also wished for a thicker shelf bottom. The bottom of each shelf unit is just the cardboard liner (like you have as the backing of the unit). Having something that was thicker/studier would have been nice to allow more weight to be stored in each drawer.

    Solid, Serviceable

I purchased this 36 unit for my home office. Drawers glide smoothly and the variety of hanging file rail placement makes it truly customizable. Its heavy (169 pounds, according to the shipping manifest), so if youre going to move it upstairs, youll need help. Its also a bit unwieldy. I moved it by myself with no problem (no stairs), using a two-wheeled dolly. Unit was packed with styrofoam top and bottom, with heavy-duty cardboard then on top and bottom, as well as corners and the middle of the long sides. Whole unit then wrapped in clear plastic to prevent anything from shifting. My only niggling concern is that the top drawer slightly touches the frame when I close it, making a slight scraping sound. It will likely wear away the paint before long, but its not enough to bother with.

    Nice set of drawers

It came as described, and fit perfectly where I needed it to go. It needs assembly, but I expected that.

Exceeded my expectations in every way

I rarely write reviews but was so impressed by these drawers that I felt compelled to share. First of all, the packaging alone is worth 5 stars. As soon as I opened the box, I noticed that there were stiff cardboard corner reinforcements to ensure the corners would not get damaged during transit. I’ve never seen that before and is always a concern when I order flat-shipped furniture like this (which always come with minor damage). Everything was carefully packaged to minimize or eliminate damage (e.g. foam sheets in between boards to protect from rubbing, etc). As others have already mentioned, assembly was very easy - everything is labeled (some a little more subtly than others, but the contents list is accurate) and the instructions make sense. If you are adept at building IKEA furniture, you’ll have no issues with this. I STRONGLY recommend that you use a drill instead of manually screwing everything in. That will make assembly infinitely faster and easier (and more fun!). But you will also need one screwdriver for turning the cam lock nuts. Bottom line: a drill is key. At the final step when I was inserting the drawers I was hoping everything would line up, and they did perfectly. The entire unit feels very sturdy. During assembly, I was impressed by how each step ensured a tight and secure construction. My only wish is that the drawers were slightly wider so that each drawer can accommodate 2 sets of 8.5x11 paper side by side. But otherwise I’m super happy with them and plan to buy a second one to stack on top of the other. I was nervous to order at first since it wasnt a Prime item and Ive had bad experiences in the past, but thanks to the positive reviews, I took the plunge and really glad I did.

    Works great

Works great. Inspect for damage when it comes, a real pain to return
