Assembly was easy, but there are a lot of pieces. If you are a careful, step by step type of person figure about 45 minutes for assembly. The drawer does not have slides, it just pulls out and uses a wooden dowel as a stop so you have to be fairly careful when opening the drawer. As far as sturdiness, if you don’t plan to sit on it, the sturdiness is fine. A good drawer storage set up for the price, not great but good.
Well made and packed extremely well; arrived without a scratch. Shipping was handled very thoughtfully.
You can also buy a bottle of touch-up paint from s customer service dept. to keep it looking new into the future.
Installed correctly, the drawers will close with only a slight nudge from you.

Well....I’m a woman and 77 years old. I put this together and it did take me several hours. But if I can do it, you can too! When assembled it is very nice and really sturdy (provided you get it put together correctly!). I would recommend it.
Very nice, solid file cabinet! Love that it has a lock and its easy to use. Lock does only lock the top drawer. I cant say that it was easy to assemble....because there are so many dang pieces when assembling things like this. But everything seemed to go together nicely and didnt have any struggles with putting it together, except it took awhile to get through all of the parts. But was definitely pleased once it was completely together and ready to use.
Looks great, not cheaply made. Drawers glide perfectly. Ikea version was out of stock; so found this one. It costs a little more but had Mor inside drawer space and drawers glide so smoothly. So glad Ikea was out of stock. My daughter loves this, uses it for her office supples. My husband didn’t have any trouble putting it together. Will purchase another if we ever need one.
Exceeded expectations! Was looking for a simple 3 drawer filing cabinet. Not only did it fulfill my requirements, but it looks great too! I wasn’t expecting much as it wasn’t very pricey. It’s made of particleboard but it sure doesn’t look it. It’s both functional and stylish. I would purchas it again if needed and I would highly recommend it.
I’m so happy I purchased this! It’s not junk! Came in lots of pieces but everything is liked and the directions were easy to follow. Love love love it!
