Single mom of tween and a teen. I wanted a bunk bed that would accommodate the queen mattress we already had. I soon found out this is nearly impossible to find and if you do they are insanely expensive.
This does fit the queen mattress perfectly on the bottom. No box spring (it will not fit). I purchased an XL twin mattress off and it fit great for the top. I think a normal twin would be too small. The kids love it and it fit nicely into their tiny room.
Putting this together was a pain in the ass. It took FOREVER…like 4 hours with the three of us. We are typically pretty handy. The instructions are pictures only. The amount of times we had to take it apart and flip a piece around bc they didn’t show the correct placement was insane. The parts were missing labels or labeled incorrectly. You definitely need more than one person to hold while one or two put the parts together. This was the biggest reason for the review.
It seems sturdy enough assuming they treat it like a bed and not a jungle gym. It does squeak but maybe that from the assembly job I did.
Honestly for the price I would buy it again even with the assembly issues.
I love this bunk bed, but I ordered white and it is OFF-white or cream.
It clashes with our white trim in the room. It is too late to return, since we spent the hours assembling it.
Also, the ladder (and no way to get out of the top bunk), is a bummer. The design needed to leave a cutout in the lattice, in order for the child to enter/exit the top bunk, from/to the rungs below. There are better designs here on . I would recommend searching for an angled ladder and an entry cut-out.
sturdy, good price however delivery came in two boxes, one box was ripped and there were screws missing so I had to take a trip to the hardware store to get screws. I didnt bother calling customer service to complain but wanted to let others know because someone else posted a review about missing screws. Overall it is a good bunk bed.
The instructions could use some better pictures and descriptions but once this bed is put together it is very nice and quite a bit more sturdy than I expected. I purchased this for my 7 year old daughter and she loves it.
This bed frame is quite shaky. It needs a support beam going diagonally across the back. We’re going to try to intall one. Also the wood panels didn’t fit. Be sure to get 6” mattresses.

Exceeded my expectations!
