I had this in my apartment for a while and it held up until my 300+lbs, 67 husband literally jumped onto it! Its really awesome for a date night and cozying up on the couch to watch TV for a bit. HOWEVER, for gamers, I think this might be a little on the harder side for the 3 hour long sessions. Definitely get a blanket or some type of cusion with it. The cupholders come in handy for those emergency snacks/drinks for dungeon raids.
