Looks absolutely great and came shipped in perfect condition. Used for first flight over the weekend as my carry on and performed as expected. Nothing broke, it was quite durable since my cab driver dropped it onto the ground hard and nothing happened, and held more than enough for a long weekend away. I would definitely recommend!
Nice set for the price. Looks really cool. My issue is that the large piece of luggage was damaged the first time I used it, with a small crack in the hard plastic and a couple of the rubber bumpers came off. But I kept using it, and its been through 6 more flights with no additional damage. Would I recommend it? Probably not; I learned a lesson about purchasing items I hadnt seen in person. But it still works, so I guess Ill get my moneys worth until it breaks and scatters my clothes on the tarmac.
I was pleasantly surprised when my luggage arrived yesterday. This set is much better quality than its price reflects. The carbon color is really nice and I will have no problem spotting my luggage on the carousel. The large bag is huge and roomy but not heavy.
Ive already recommended the set to two friends.
You cant find a better hardside luggage set for the money!
Luggage just arrived. All is fine. Real nice looking and yes Gold not Bronze, which is what I wanted. Packaging fine no problems there nor with the smell, there is none.
Wheels, seams, zippers and handles all are OK, no problems.
Quality seems to be good, but time will tell.
Will update after my first overseas trip in a few weeks.
Just returned. All is fine after flight to Rotterdam and a cruise back to the states. Only a few marks from handling and durability seems fine after One trip.
After second trip all still in one piece and still functional. Took some abuse and that shows in that there are some stress points with discoloration. But nothing is broke.
After 4 trips over seas and 1 1/2 years, all is still functional with nothing broke.
After 7 over seas trips and 2 years, all is functional, but more discoloration and more stress points after each use. Too be expected? Feel I got my moneys worth with only paying $117 for all three.
This luggage was bought for my mother, she loves it. I had an opportunity to see when she came to visit me. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the compartment space. It is beautiful.
Best set of Luggage we have ever owned. Stood up to airport and cruise line baggage handlers, without so much as a scratch or ding. Wheel system is great, very easy to maneuver. Very distinctive look makes finding your bags easy on baggage carousels. Plenty of room inside with storage areas for just abut everything.
I was very nervous about purchasing this luggage set, as I have only ever used fabric luggage. However, the luggage I had was from the 90, and not very physically appealing. I am going to France to teach, and wanted something a little more stylish. I am SO happy with this purchase! I love the metallic look, its not as obnoxious as brightly colored luggage, but its easy to pick out on the luggage line. The wheels roll easily and they are so easy to pack! I took the medium sized one on a weekend writing retreat (Im an overpacker, I couldve gotten away with the small one), and it held up so well!
I just finished packing for France, using the large suitcase and small one. I love that the small one is approved as a carryon on international flights, so I dont have to worry about checking another piece of luggage. I purchased a luggage strap to connect my checked and carry-on suitcases, and from what I can tell so far, itll work out great. Ill post an update upon my return.
The only downside that I noticed the other day when packing is that there are some white stretch marks on the corner of the large one. I dont know what its from since I havent used it yet, but I tested it with some pressure and it didnt cave at all, so it shouldnt be a problem.
I especially love that the one side is zippered - makes it easy to open and close, and its nice to separate my clothing from my shoes and toiletries.
Overall, I would DEFINITELY purchase again! I looked at several other suitcase sets, and this one won on all accounts. I couldnt be happier!
Ive had these since July of 2014. We are very frequent fliers. These have held up remarkably well without so much as a little scratch on them! Unfortunately, we flew a different airline last week and it looks like it either fell off the luggage cart hard onto the pavement or they tossed it so carelessly that it landed on the corner and cracked a big crack. We are submitting photos to the airline in hopes of getting some compensation. I dont believe it was due to any problem with the luggage not being sturdy. I believe it was from rough handling in the baggage department. :( Very sad! I will probably order another set just like it because I like it so well.

Functional, but gets damaged easily
