I had been debating between buying my 2 year old a twin size bed or a Montessori floor bed since shes still so small. Reasons why I ended up going forward with the twin was for versatility and longevity. Im hoping this can be her one and only bed that will bring her through elementary/high school (perhaps even beyond, haha).
Since transitioning my almost 2.5 yr old into this bed, Ive been so happy with my purchase. Here are my main reasons:
1/ ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT. You can install this bed at 2 heights! 6 in 11 in. 6 inches is absolutely perfect for a toddler! I was so worried about my little girl needing to climb up and down a tall bed. She has been in a crib all her life up until now (no transition to toddler bed), so I was afraid of the height and her rolling off and getting hurt from the fall. We have not had any problems whatsoever with the height and that has been the biggest relief.
2/ DOESNT SQUEAK AKA STURDY. Not sure why, but my husbands fear of metal beds was how loud they would get, especially if you have children jumping on top of it incessantly. This bed couldnt be sturdier. The way you install the metal slats is bar by bar and each one is tightly secured with an extra plastic retainer on each end to make sure it locks in place.
3/ TIMELESS. I can see us keeping this bed in the house for many many years just because of its style and versatility. If not a childs bed, this can easily be moved into a guest bedroom. I purchased this bed for the same price as my daughters crib when she was born, but I know Ill get wayyyy more years out of this without having to break the bank buying a fancy convertible crib/toddler/big bed or having to buy 3 separate types of beds.
Extremely happy with this bed, would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially parents who are looking for a one stop shop solution for your young child.
Great price and relatively easy to put together. Took a little longer than we thought it would, but its just what we needed for the guest room. Very happy with how much sturdier it is than the last day bed we had. And its super cute!
Purchased three of these beds for my daughters. They are very very cute if youre theme in your home is farmhouse or vintage. Only reason as to why the 4 stars is one of the beds had a huge spot where the paint cracked out of the corner. Not a big deal and doesnt effect the functionality of it at all. Just a bit bummed. We went with the white so that it would match any of their decor. We have a 13,12, and 8 yr old and these beds seem to be holding up great over the last month. Recommend.
Pros: very pretty, as pictured; sturdy. Cons: only con is that it took awhile to assemble. Not very difficult, but time/consuming. (Two people two hours.) Worth it, though, for the appearance and the price.
Overall this is a great day bed. We purchase this in about 3 months ago and its still looks as great as the day we bought.
A few tips for prospective buyers: keep all the allen screws loose until everything is assembled, try to assemble in the room you want to place the bed in, once assembled it does still fit through normal door openings, its a 1 person job but at certain points having 2 people helps especially when matching up the sides.
The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is simply because of the price increase. This used to be 199 and now its almost 100 more. At that price you now have other options. At the lower price this was definitely a 4 or 5 star product.
Its a fairly sturdy bed. Unfortunately, once this is assembled it will need to be disassembled before moving it through a standard door frame so assemble it in the room it will be in. Pay close attention to the directions on how to put on the slats the plastic pieces break easily so you cant pull them out and put them back. Also the twin mattress I bought for it is just a few inches too small so theres about a 3 inch gap on the side.
In love. I was very sceptical when buying this bed hoping it wasnt a flimsy piece of junk. It is NOT! Its very sturdy very easy to assemble. I assembled this bed with my 5 year old daughter in about an hour. It came with two different height options/ we chose the higher option and it looks great. No creaking noises. Solid bed. Very pleased.

Deceiving color
I purchased the teal and it looks nothing like the photo. Its an almost neon blue color not teal at all.
