I ordered this chair and was praying it came without being damaged in shipping. There were a couple of small holes but everything was there and nothing damaged. This chair is so easy to put together. I did it by myself with no problems at all. Got everything ready to try it and it was perfect! I needed a chair that wasnt so big and bulky. This is the one. It sits great and moves smoothly. Very happy I purchased this!!

Everything that was negative in my first post was graciously and very professionally fixed by McCombo chairs. Without me needing to ask, they sent me a replacement chair and arranged for a UPS pick up of the first chair, in its damaged box. I naturally offerd to retape the damaged box, which they wrote me back thanking me, and saying that they were very grateful for my efforts .They apologized multiple times for the damage.
Their polite, friendly communications surprised me! Not many companies go to this extreme to be helpful, grateful and just nice! BRAVO McCOMBO
The replacement chair was delivered perfectly by UPS. It appears to me as if the first FedEx delivery might have been the cause for the extreme damage. The continutation with a different delivery serice, UPS delivery, was flawless as always! LOVE UPS!
All dealings with McCombo has been very helpful and professional. Communication was always prompt, professional, and quite friendly. It was a pleasure communicating with a real live person, who went above and beyond, to make a bad situtation PERFECT! I will definately be a repeat customer as we continue to decorate our family room. McCombo proved to me how a QUALITY company respects and treats their customers. IMHO, McCombo is THE BEST company on 5/MILLION STARS BRAVO!!

First, let me say that I LOVE . Ive been a very satisfied customer for MANY years. So, when considering making a major purchase of over 600 , I didnt hesitate for a moment. I knew everything was going to be just fine.
Sadly, this is NOT the case!
This McCombo lift chair is to be a Birthday gift for my husband (06/13). He has had a very rough time lately after breaking hip. I thought this lift chair would make his life a little easier, less painful, and his birthday a little happier after his rough year.
However, the box that was delivered looks like it didnt only come from the GARBAGE DUMP, but the BOTTOM of the GARBAGE DUMP!!
The box is a disgusting, ripped up, piece of falling apart garbage, with pieces sticking out of it!
The second box, which seems to be the backrest looks nice, but the main box containing the motor etc is all ripped and torn with pieces sticking out of it. I havent totally opened the box yet. Im fearful that there might be major pieces missing or damaged. Im also worried that some critter might jump out of the box. It looks ripped, but also possibly chewed in places, with larger irregular shaped holes in the box. I would assume after spending this MUCH MONEY on a chair, that it would be delivered in good shape.
How am I going to put a bow on a piece of ripped up garbage to wish my poor husband a Happy Birthday? Glad I didnt order a second chair for myself, as I had originally planned.

SHAMESHAME.SHAME on , the seller, and also FedEx who dumped this pile of junk in our driveway without so much as ringing our bell. Our dog barked , and came and got me after hearing the FedEx truck. By the way, it had just started to rain, so without our wonderful dog alerting me of the delivery truck leaving, this mess would have been much worse, plus drenched! Glad it wasnt garbage day, or surely this pile of junk would have been mistaken for trash and hauled away to the dump, which is where it looks like it came from! Im a reasonable person, and realize that at times a little damage is occasionally to be expected during delivery , but this is outrageous! Im getting up the courage to open up this mangled disgusting box, but it worries me. There is no excuse for this. NONE!!

Bought this for my grandmother with limited mobility for Mothers Day and shes been loving it. Not only is it easier for her to get up without risk of hurting herself, but she can keep her phone on her by charging it right from the chair and have a cup holder for easy access to her drink. Highly recommend.
Saw this chair on during my search for a lift chair for my 98 year old mother. Compared to other chairs that I have seen this one was reasonably priced and looked to be very comfortable. I took a chance and purchased and have not been sorry. My mother loves it. It lifts her high enough to stand in her walker, plus it reclines to a low angle and the foot rest rises at the same time. All this with the controls at her fingertips. She spends much of her day reclined with her feet up. Prior to this her feet would swell, but now with the elevation they do not. An added bonus is that the chair is extremely comfortable.
The only negative is this recliner is a little short in the seat so it isnt great for long legged people. Otherwise it is comfortable and easily lifts an adult to standing position

wasnt to sure motor on chair was strong enough to lift me.but it works great so far

Narrow seat is not as comfortable and does not allow for my computer tray to be used.
I like the ability to get up without putting extra strain on my back and knees. The fabric of the chair is very nice and resists minor spills.
