I had a very small dent in the headboard, but really not a big deal in my eyes. Honestly, I may have done it myself while ripping the pieces out in a frenzy on Easter night. Overall I am in love with the look of the frame. The non slip tape for the mattress is pretty cool, and I am very appreciative of the use of velcro to keep the slats in place. Very nice bed, although I dont expect it to last forever. Im just happy to have a queen sized bed that I can use for a few years through college. It is a true black color.

Unfortunately, mine has big flaw on left front side/piece of headboard which is visible since it is just above top of mattress. Looks as though someone pounded the head of a bolt into it a couple of times, or some similar scenario, leaving two ugly indentations. Will try to post picture. I am keeping bed as I have guest arriving and dont have time to return. Pretty disappointing purchase for the price.
Assembly: Much easier than expected! I did this completely on my own, in about an hour. The bed is a bit heavy (it is STURDY) so it requires a bit of strength to assemble, but the process was quick and the instructions are very clear. No confusion!

This bed is VERY solid and sturdy, worlds above many competitors, at a better price point. The matte staining is very pretty and complimentary to nearly any setup. Im very pleased with this purchase.
I ordered this bed frame for my room and I love it! This bed frame is so neat and the color black is perfect. The line details that the headboard has gives it such a cute touch. I upgrade my bed from a size Full to a size Queen because I needed more space. The wood material is great, I am very happy with this purchase. The shipping was very fast, I ordered this bedframe and another one in color white, it is called Deluxe Platform Bed w/ Slatted Headboard White and they both arrived the same day. I made my order on Sunday and received it on Wednesday!

Super cheaply made. I bought it in November and now its February and its already falling apart. Its cracking. I weigh about 125lbs. So disappointed for what I paid!
I think when it comes to mattresses it is important to take into account the body type of an individual. I am a slender male 160 lbs and do not have any one else sleeping with me. I purchased the Queen/sized Memory Foam with Cottage Style frame and love it!
The bed was easy to assemble and I had no trouble with the instructions. Previously, I had a 2nd hand Queen sized inner box spring mattress and it had some grooves dug into it by the time I purchased my . The new mattress is easily worth the purchase. On my old mattress I used to wake up stiff, sometimes my knees/shoulders/neck would hurt when Id wake up. I could not always get comfortable and would wake up multiple times during the night. On my new mattress I have not waken up with any joint pain. The bed is soft and the frame is sturdy. There is no squeaking and the overall build quality is top notch.
Another plus that may not be on your checklist is the ease of assembly. Every part is labeled. The slates are pre/assembled and the instructions are very detailed. From start to finish the bed took me about 20 minutes to setup.
I would recommend this mattress and frame to all individuals.
Id like to start by saying the actual quality of this bed is really nice for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. The instructions are extremely hard to follow and I was missing a section of screws. Instead of sending me some screws could only send me an entirely new bed which just seems wasteful to me. I had to go to the hardware store. Overall it still looks nice and seems relatively sturdy. Pretty but doesnt fit .
