Very happy with this purchase. Even comes with stakes to pin it into the ground but honestly, the basket is such great quality and sturdy enough as is , you wont even need them.
We are so happy with this practice basket. I picked this one because it said portable and I thought it would be nice to bring with us. When my kids first saw it, they honestly didnt look thrilled. My husband even looked a little skeptical. I told them to just wait until it was put together. It was very easy to assemble and its not very heavy so it can be moved. Needless to say, I couldnt get them back inside. We look forward to playing every day after homework. I love that they are outside more and less on the electronics. We keep it in our shed when we are not playing with it, so I cant say how it will hold up with rain, etc. We didnt need to stake it but it does come with stakes if needed. It did not knock over or even wobble when we were playing with it. Very happy with this purchase!
I play lot of disc golf (970 rated) and wanted more baskets for a small course at my house so I got one of these to try them out. Basket was super easy to assemble, no tools required. Was surprised to find a MVP warranty card in the box with it. Guess is the same basket with a different name? Anyways, its an awesome practice basket for the money. Its sturdy enough on flat grass but comes with stakes too just in case. Its lightweight metal and the chains are on the lighter side but catchs well. I spin putt hard and it caught everything it should have. It also makes a very satisfying ping when you make the putt since the pole is solid metal. Planning on purchasing 4 more since it was so good for the money. Ill update later when its been outside for a few months to see how they hold up.
Update: found that the deluxe basket from is the same price. Side by side, they are almost I identical except for the band and the fact that the inner chains on the deluxe have holder so they dont slide around making it catch more consistently. Would recommend the deluxe over this one.
