Shower head works great but I would skip the hand held attachment as the matte black coating has been flaking off since installation about a year ago. I have reached out to the company for a replacement and am waiting for a response. Also, was very hard to find the e-mail for the company but it’s on the manual sun-cleanse.com
If I had known about this issue I probably would have purchased an item from a more well known brand to make warranty issues simple and easy.
Update: they promptly sent a replacement without instructions on how to replace. So good luck to us!
This shower set has a great warranty and is fairly well made. Theres more plastic in this set than in some of the fancier sets from more expensive manufacturers, but gives this a limited lifetime warranty, which means you can buy this set and expect a good deal of use out of it despite the prevalence of plastic.
Honestly, most bathroom tub fixtures have plastic in them at a variety of points. Its not so much a longevity issue as a matter of looks. This sets entire shower head, though it looks like metal, is made of plastic.
Where the set does include metal, its solid and substantial. The valve handle is heavy and the valve action is nicely damped. The tub is made of metal, though the inner parts include plastic connectors. The valve is sold brass with a (typical of all s) nylon cartridge.
The shower head is huge, with five spray settings and soft rubber spray heads that are easily cleaned and resist clogging well. Just rub across them with a finger to restore flow when they get clogged.
The dark finish is beautiful. A fine set of shower/tub fixtures, overall.
We just received the Shower System, Bathroom Rainfall Shower Faucet Set Complete with 6-Setting Handheld Shower Head Combo, Included Rough in Valve and Trim Kit, Matte Black and are very impressed with the quality and looks. Our new shower is being installed next month and after it is up and running I will write a review on the performance. Right now I can say if this works as nice as it looks we are going to be extremely happy. I see that it is not available any longer on . I sure hope they get more of these because I would like to get another one for my guest shower.
This is such a nice shower head and tub ! We desperately needed an upgrade from the old chrome set that we had previously and this was a perfect match to the rest of our nickel Nicoli fixtures. This showerhead had good water pressure and consistent temperatures. Thankful the shower valve was included (unlike some others we looked at) and our plumber said it was a straightforward installation. Very happy with this product and would recommend!
