Good for the price, but the packaging was so awful!

The paint and condition of the parts are very cheap. Its a nice design though.

    Missing parts/not cut properly

Bed is nice for price but some of the pieces were not cut properly and my husband had to use his power tools to measure it out and cut the wood as it should have been. Bed is sturdy enough but I have light weight children. Its okay for the price, but be prepared to use your own tools just incase yours isnt finished when it comes to you not happy at all

    Sturdy and simple

A little creaky and some pieces were chipped/broken but overall a sturdy piece that was fairly easy to assemble. Good buy I am very pleased so far

A nice bed but packaged poorly

One of the top bunk safety rails (13) was broke and unusable when I opened the box. There were a few other dings and scratches leading me to believe that better packaging would have prevented the damage. Otherwise, it is an attractive, sturdy bed. The grey color is exactly what I wanted. Just follow the instructions and youll be fine!!

    Who could ask for more.

Arrived in 3 days and when the delivery truck pulled up I opened my garage and the two delivery men brought it right inside. The box was in perfect condition and everything was well packed. The pieces have a nice smooth finish and I like that its real wood. Of course its not hardwood from an old/growth forest and Im happy with that. There are a few blemishes but nothing you could see from more than 3 foot away, and no splinters or real defects. Before it arrived I saw some commentary on the bed slats and had a few 1x4s ready to augment the ones that came with the bed. It came with 14 slats for the two beds, and I cut four additional ones and now it looks like Ill be fine without bunky boards. It took about 2 hours to assemble with a couple of obligatory re/dos of some boards (pay attention to where the holes for attaching the ladder are!) The design seems sturdy in all of the right places and the bolts and fittings give reassurance it will hold up. Love the look, that it doesnt take up much space, and that my daughters are happy. Very well built
