UPDATE: Its been about 2 years and this bedtime is still going strong. My son sleeps on it every night, hes had family members sleep in with him at his request, and his room becomes the guestroom when we have company. Still holds up. Solid purchase.
As per usual with , the package arrived absolutely beat up. Part of the bed frame was sticking out of the box. While too heavy for me to fully lift on my own it was light enough for me to maneuver into my home. Everything surprisingly was in good condition. A few minor scratches where the pieces connect; you cannot see them now that the bed is put together. Im terrible at assembling furniture so I had my brother help me. He wound up doing it by himself in 10 / 15 minutes or so. He said it was so easy even I could have done it on my own without the instructions. (The ratchet they send is 100 times better than the old allan wrench.) There is plenty of space beneath the bed to store stuff. The frame itself seems very sturdy thus far / its been 2.5 days. I have a cushion top traditional mattress and a box spring that came with the old bed frame. The box spring slid right off the frame, but did not shift once the weight of the mattress was on top. However, the box spring and cushion top mattress definitely overwhelmed the size of the headboard. Plus, it was far too much for the somewhat smaller room it is in. I got rid of the box spring and put the mattress straight on the frame. It looks much better, does not move at all, and is much more comfortable than when it was on the box spring. If the frame holds up long term, this is one of the bed furniture purchases Ive made. It works.
This bed frame is a very good bed! Ive had It a little over a year, yet its still going strong. Im a big girl, so if it can support 300 lbs from me and almost 200 lbs from my boyfriend, its solid. I recommend to the fullest degree! Buy it!!!!! Good Product.
I waited several months to write a review, to see how it would hold up. My boyfriend is a big and tall guy, and Im not small myself. Combined were about 450lbs. This thing does not budge. Not a single sound, even with extra curriculars. Its very sturdy, and was easy to assemble. We were concerned, because when you go to put the mattress on, there no real lip to hold it in place. But the mattress doesnt budge. Its not very heavy, which was a nice surprise. Im able to move it myself for cleaning without hurting myself. It was easy to assemble, but I would recommend it be a 2 person job just to line up the screws easier. The headboard has held up better then expected too. We find ourselves leaning on it often while sitting in bed and theres no tears in the threads, and the still looks new. Only thing Id be cautious of is walking around at night. Ive gotten my toes a few times on the post in the middle, just because I dont expect it to be there. But the corners at the end of the bed are not sharp and have not been an issue. Highly recommend. Easy set up.
So far we really love this bed frame! I really contemplated a more expensive one but glad I went with this. It hasnt made any noises when we move on it. I put it together myself with no problems at all. All of the parts (and even spares) were there with directions that were easy to follow. We opted to not use a box spring. It made it super tall with it and we were looking for something shorter. Cute.

Impressed! After worrying and doing research on different beds, I finally went with this frame. I was worried about sturdiness and if my underbed storage would fit. My bed feels so sturdy. Theres enough room for my three storage compartments to fit underneath for easy sliding in and out. I live the height of the bed. It definitely doesnt need or was made for the box spring (its hiding the headboard), I kept it just in case. Its nice and high! Im very satisfied. If anything breaks or happens I will update my review. But its really doing the job and looks minimalistic too. It was easy.
Bought two of these for my teen boys who share a room. One is 62 250 lbs the other is 54 about 130 and they both really love the beds. They each assembled their own bed without any assistance. They seem very durable. They came I damaged thankfully! The mattresses we purchased are really high12 inches and they do cover part of the headboard but not much you can definitely still see it and I was concerned about that based on previous reviews. I do highly recommend it, it is a really well made bed. Great value. Very sturdy.
