we wanted a bed we could lay in with our kids and most of the cheap ones had super low weight limits this one feels totally sturdy for a large adult/ even on top bunk! we are super happy with it! Exactly as Described.
Simple to put together. I put it together, by myself, in under two hours. That included putting on a mattress and making the bed. Seems sturdy. I purchased this for a guest room. The only thing I would have liked is written instructions to go along with the pictures. I had to re/adjust things a couple times because instructions werent totally clear. Must buy.
Overall the bed is pretty good. Its well designed and easy to relatively assemble, few things to be aware of:
/ The slats are too far apart, like 6/7, which is not good for many mattresses as they will eventually sag. Do yourself a favor, goto Home Depot and buy 2 39x74 sheets of euroboard or similar to properly support the mattress. Put it on top of the slats.
/ The wood is kind of soft, its pine. Scraping off one of the labels with a fingernail left small dents, so be careful with it.
/ Says its 400lb per bed, and its possible, but it does not look that strong to me, so not for adults. Does its job!.
Nice looking real wood, however, one wood piece was dented and scarred. All the pieces and bolts were there. One big problem, the top guard rail is not secure!! This can be fixed with an extra bolt or two but watch out for it! I would buy it again. Its ok but smaller than expected.
Great bed. Seems well made. No smell or anything that some reviews complained about. The stickers leave a bit to be desired but all in all im happy with this purchase. I took off a star because one of the slats on the bottom bunk has already cracked when my 12 yr old flopped on the bed. Not even that hard but apparently that was enough. I have ordered some bunkie boards to help support some more and disperse the weight distribution. I think that will take care of it. It is alright.
Cute set, but the slats that come with it have 9.5 inch gaps between the wood slats. Doesnt seem like that will hold 450lbs This was a nightmare to assemble.
We bought the pine bunk bed a few weeks ago. Assembly was great, its pretty sturdy, and I feel confident in the weight bearing limits. The main concern though is the top bunk side rail. It feels like an afterthought. Its very weak, and we are pretty confident after a few hard tugs it would snap off, making the top bunk essentially useless. Had I been more aware of this defect, I would have reconsidered. Its a shame, but I am disappointed with this aspect of the bunk.

Great bed but I suggest getting bunkie boards

Its ok, but the weak side rail on top bunk makes me nervous
