Ok. So this is a very inexpensive tree. I did not expect this to be a fantastic tree but I am happy with it. The tree is sort of what I expected. It is a little retro tinsel tree. Not elegant but kinda fun. I am also pretty sure the ornaments are ping pong balls which is a good thing because the tree is not sturdy enough for anything heavier.
Oh my gosh do I love this tree. It is perfect! It is a nice reminder of the years growing up. The tree is about 4 feet 8 inches tall. I put colored lights on the tree and decorated. This is not like the real old ones, you CAN put lights on it and it will not get warm. Enjoy!
The top piece broke as I took it out of the box for the first time. I was able to run a dowel through the two broken pieces to make it work. Definitely not high quality, but it does look nice!
Just right size! Grandparents always had a tinsel tree with the color wheel light!. Using it for all my special ornaments I’ve gathered from vacations and special times!
Love this shiny tree and the bright ornaments. I added my own color lights and it just sparkled. It is very light, so if you want to put it on a covered porch, make sure you weigh it down.
I usually purchase a fresh cut Douglas fir each year but this year I was feeling a bit nostalgic and decided to go with the silver tree. This tree consist of a few branches tied onto metal poles. Branches are difficult to spread out without the entire thing falling apart. Base is wobbly, Im afraid to put my glass bulbs on the tree out of fear the tree will tumble over and Ill lose some very expensive one of a kind ornaments. Since I had to do sn extensive work around/makeover and Christmas is quickly approaching Ill keep it and try to make it work but as soon as the holiday is over into the trash it goes.
Oh by the way it is nowhere near 6 ft. I stand 5 feet 2 inches and the tree is only 3 inches taller (on the stand) than I am.
Bought this little tree so I would not have to use my original 1964 aluminum tree. For $45.00 I thought I would take a chance and boy I am so glade I did. If you like the whole Mid-century Christmas thing this is money well spent. It was the easiest tree I have ever assembled. I also purchased for the first time battery powered fairy lights and boy do they work great. I just do not how long the batteries will last that may be a pain in the neck time will tell on the lights. As far as the tree BUY IT NOW! Awesome little tree and merry Christmas!!

Great Midcentury modern tree if you like that sort of thing.
