As to be expected for the price. Yes there is assembly, but really do you expect there not to be? All the hardware came in individual bags labeled in the instructions for use, this is the best instructions I have seen with RTA (ready to assemble) furniture that I have purchased. You need two people to put this together, I understand it is possible to put together single/handedly, but lets be realistic, it is way easier to do. Tip: get a medium bottle of wood glue, and glue every joint with a warm wash cloth to wipe away any excess glue. They drawers are not fancy hardware, I would have paid more if they had a soft/close model. But for the price, I can not complain. Delivered fine, lots of packing material as to be expected. You literally can not buy a stainless steel sheet to top cabinets for as cheap as this whole unit is (when I say cheap that is a good thing).

Seems like its pretty sturdy, Id say like 50 more expensive than its really worth but still a good buy. All the parts seem kind of overwhelming at first but it only took my fiance like an hour maybe.
Looks good. 4+ hours 2 people to assemble. Flimsy. Beautiful stainless steel top literally holds together to help flimsy.
Probably work for what I need in an apartment for one year.
