Overall was a nice product. The motor was quite. However after about a week I noticed the watch faces are scratching against the plexiglass. I have a 42mm and 44mm and both were hitting the plexiglass. I tried using the smaller cushion but than watch doesnt fit securely. Will just have to leave the top open until I find something better for bigger watches. He loves it.
The unit looks beautiful and works perfectly. I did need to pull one of the rings off the pillows for one watch to prevent it from tapping the glass upon rotation. But, these are pretty big watches and they now turn with no issues. Great considering this unit is almost half the price of most other two watch units. Truly whisper quiet. It was easy.
This will not work if you have bigger watches it looks nice but the pillows that hold the watches in dont even come close to fitting a larger size watch way to small it looks nice but I will not recommend to anyone with a bigger size watch it will only work if you leave the lid closed.
Pros: I like the look of this winder. It looks like it should be a lot more expensive. I have it on a dresser about 10 feet from the bed and its pretty quiet when it runs.
Cons: the pillows that come with the unit need another bigger circumference sleeve. It comes with one that fits over the smaller pillow but its not big enough to hold larger metal bracelet watches snuggly. Because of this my larger/heavier diver style watches flop around while the unit is turning. The leather or silicone strap watches stay on better since you can adjust the fit of the straps. But even with a leather band, if its stiff near the bezel/dial like the one that came with my Breitling Navitimer the watch sits tall so that the watch scrapes against the glass of the lid when turning if you close it. So I have to leave the lid open when that watch is being wound.
Overall I think this is a nice choice for most people but if they would include another thicker sleeve for the pillow for larger watches and also gave the lid another quarter inch of clearance it would be a big improvement. So because of my experience with this winder, and the shortcomings Ive shared I can only give it 3 stars.

Makes a large clicking noise when at five oclock.
Watch holding pads are too small and when rotating makes a noisy clunking noise at five oclock. Fearing failure soon.

Poor build
Looks nice out of the box but the clear part is plastic and not glass and the dial doesnt line up with the 5 modes.
