1. The umbrella structure (metal parts) are reasonably sturdy and I have no problem with this aspect.

OUR UMBRELLA WENT FROM CORAL COLOR TO EXTREME FADED UGLY DULL PINK IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS! Extremely disappointed in the advertised color fastness and UV resistance of the fabric. SEE THE PICTURE AS TO HOW BADLY THIS ITEM FADES. THE BRIGHT COLOR IS OUT/ OF/ THE/ BOX AND SHIELDED FROM THE SUN. THE FADED COLOR IS WHAT THE SUN WILL DO TO IT IN 14 DAYS OF SUMMER PITIFUL!
The umbrella is very sturdy and made of very good materials. Its been through a couple of storms already and has held on well. Highly recommend for this price.
The construction of this umbrella is really nice. Cranks and tilts easily and has a good solid navy color to it. It hasnt faded yet and Ive had it a few weeks. The Velcro that holds the umbrella closed works well and holds up under the windy conditions that are frequent at our house.
