I just moved accross country and I am staying with a friend for a while while i save up to buy a house. I needed to buy a bed that is well made and does not cause pain in the back because i have chronic lower back issues. I am honistly very impressed that for this amount of moeny i can say that I bought a solid comfortable matress. I have had very expensive matreses in the past and while this is not the highest quality it is surely a good one. The pattress comes rolled up in a vacume sealed bag that unrollles and sort of inflates to its full size when you year open and remove the bag. I thought this would leave perminent weak spots in the mattress but it doesnt seamve to have done that at all. Going on 2 months now with this bed and its still very comfortable. This is a medium soft mattress so if you like a bed that is realy soft you may want to look for another one. Personally i find that soft mattresses cause me back pain so Im happy with this.
This mattress felt like the perfect one after nights of restless sleep. It was firm and supportive for my back and i didnt sink in. I however had to get a quilted topper cause it was a little too hard for me but I absolutely hate the sinking feeling of memory foam.
A month went buy and i noticed where I sleep started to feel a little uncomfortable. Like my butt was sinking in but everything else straight, so i moved over and it felt better. But then that spot started to feel the same until one night i got so fed up and flipped the matress around to sleep on a new spot. I was feeling good now that it was supportive. But over time the same thing was happening. I could even rub my hands along the matress and feel it press down farther more where my butt was. Its a good thing to mention that Im a back sleeper strictly, and Im only 141 pounds so its not like Im picky.
In all its very frustrating that it feels like it lost its support in 6 months. And i thought I had the perfect matress at first i dont even consider myself that picky of a sleeper or have trouble sleeping. Im sure people are tired of hearing about my complaints about how my new matress is just as annoying. i usually dont look at 5 stars or 1 star reviews cause theyre either paid or just too negative.
Knowing what i know now Id rather just test out beds at the store and get a old fashioned spring cause I could care less about all the green tea charcoal blah blah blah hybrid foam crap.
the mattress is excellent, now we sleep very well with my husband, it has excellent rigidity and perfectly holds the body. This is the best mattress in my life.
Cons / King size / very heavy and difficult to put on and take off the elasticized sheet yourself.
After unpacking it quickly takes shape, but you need to wait for it to finally take its shape!
