Buy some white paint. Many pieces were copied right out of the package and many chipped during assembly. For the price, its OK. however I would not recommend anyone buy this.
I absolutely love this buck bed and so my daughter. I chose to assemble it myself and even thought it took me about two hours, the instructions were extremely easy to follow. Its big enought and secure enough. It delivered a day earlier than expected.I am Very happy. Thank you so much! Dont over think it, youll love it!!
Product seems to be of decent quality but horribly disappointed that an incorrect piece was sent making it impossible to set up as bunk beds. Will take more than a week to get the replacement part because it took the manufacturer two days to process the part replacement request. Quality of is very good other than this issue.
I love everything about this bed system, however, a couple of days after I assembled and my daughters got into it for the first time, I had 4 of the bolt heads snap off somehow, leaving the threaded shaft still in the hole. I intended the bolts with the Allen wrenches provided by hand and not with a power drill. I am pretty concerned that more of this will happen, and will potentially cause a failure of the bed of some kind while my girls are in it! Not to mention it will now take a good deal of work to back the bolt shaft out of the threaded hole using an extractor then look for new better replacement bolts. The bolts provided seem to be pretty cheap pot metal bolts. Has anyone else out there experienced this.Is there a way I could get replacement bolts.
Any help would be appreciated.

Read directions carefully! My grand kids love it and want to stay over every night! Exactly as I expected, sturdy and a nice addition to my home. Better than the picture!
Took a while to put together mainly because I didnt pay attention to the where the ladder holes were so I had to go back a few steps. Instructions werent hard to follow, but not all parts were labeled with the corresponding letter, but still easy enough to figure out. Sturdy and hardly any noise when mattresses were in. Some small areas of rust on some of the guardrails, which I wasnt happy about because of the price, but not enough to send it back. Love the finished product!!
There were no missing pieces, the instructions actually include words as opposed to just pictures, and the bed seems fairly sturdy. I think the sturdiness depends on how patient the builder is. Take the time to line everything up properly and leave the structural screws loose so you have play when attaching everything else, then tighten them all at the end. Catharine/Bill Coles list below of helpful installation tips was invaluable: especially the one about making sure the small drilled hole for the ladder is on the underside of the top front crossbar. There is nothing in the instructions to indicate that, and getting it wrong would necessitate undoing a lot of work. In addition, the white washers in packet 6 for the ladder dont really look like what you think of washers looking like, and unlike everything else youve done to that point they go on the inside, not the outside, of the ladder rungs. Also, on mine, there was a little bit of rust in a few places on the front top guardrail. But the main reason we purchased the beds was for their small footprint and so my daughter who is 56 could sit up comfortably on the bottom. And in those ways it delivers. Im pleased with my purchase.
The bunk bed is working out great. I purchased it for my two teenage daughters that are roughly 100lbs each, because it was tested for weight. A lot of other bunk beds on the market are for kids and dont specify weight limitations. The daughter who sleeps on the bottom has strung lights and fabric panels to make it a cozy private space. I was a little nervous about putting them in the same room but its worked out great. Really nice looking furniture.
Hard to put together. My husband used feedback on website to help him put it together in the correct order. Steps on steep for young kids to climb.
We put a piece of wood under top bunk mattress so blankets wouldnt peak through the slats. We use it for when the grandkids come, I dont know how it would be for everyday use. Happy with purchase
