The support board under the stool, its press board, not cardboard. Plus think one can add a few pieces of wood, to support the barstool, thats If its really a concern. The stool itself, once assembled, its pretty study. The price is really good too. Plus its very easy to assemble. Its not an issue, Im a senior lady, I did it myself. Its easier too, if own any power tools too.
The reviews stated these stools come fully assembled and this is the only reason I ordered them. THEY ARE NOT FULLY ASSEMBLED. You have to put them together. I am a senior female and do not want anything I have to assemble.

Get the correct height, I had to exchange mine for shorter stools.

Cant use a bar stool with 3 legs
Missing insert to attach the leg. I need the left leg replaced with the insert in it to attach the leg and to be able to use it.
