Just a heads up, the entire bed/trundle actually comes in one box, and it's rather heavy. However, I was able to open the box and bring the pieces in a few at a time, which made it possible for me (a 52-year-old woman). The instructions are easy to follow, and the bed is very sturdy. I believe this is a great bed for a spare bedroom (which is what I am using it for) or for kids.
