I honestly wasnt expecting it to be so nice. This was going to be a stand in since the one we wanted wasnt going to be available for a while and now we arent even buying the other one. Very impressed. I never give reviews but this one deserved one. She loves her first bed! Thank you!
It great a little long to put together may need to people. I would be mindful of the mattress u get because if it is to thick it will sit really high up like mines and may be a hazard for small kids
My wife and I were looking for a loft bed to make some more play space in my 3.5yr old sons bedroom. Its a fairly small room and we wanted more room for him to spread out his toys and things on the floor. He loves the new bed and spends quite a bit of time up on the bed part with his books as he does down below playing. We didnt think of how much he would like spending time in the bed part.
Assembly was fairly straight forward and the instructions are complete. The worst part of assembly is putting together the long side of the upper rails. Since there arent separate fasteners, they have to be slid in at the same time as the end panels go on. Definitely requires two people.
When assembled as delivered, the bed is fairly sturdy. Its not too tall, so it would probably be livable. I decided to make a couple of improvements for its long-term use and peace of mind. The first was that I added 6 more slats to the part that supports the mattress. We are using a 5 thick foam mattress from and it just seemed too soft in places. With three 1x3s eight feet long, I cut six more slats at 39 and screwed them down just like the others. The next improvement was to use some self-tapping sheet metal screws to join the slats to the steel beam down the center. This made a huge difference in the rigidity of the bed. Finally, I added two anti-tip furniture straps to tie it to the wall.
Overall, I would say that this was a winner. I was hesitant to buy something instead of building it myself, but I think that in this case it was a success. With a couple of inexpensive improvements it became exactly what we needed.
We bought this as a Christmas Gift for our 3 year old daughter. It was the best purchase we made all year. Even though we downsized her bed from a queen to a twin, she has not complained once. The bed was easy to assemble, and only took my husband about 1.5-2 hours to put together. We did receive a cracked piece of wood, but had tremendous customer service and received a replacement within 2 days.
We have not had any issues with the slide being too straight. Both our kids have enjoyed having an indoor slide in the house.
There are lots of other loft with slides out there (we did a ridiculous amount of research), and while this one is a little more pricey than the others, its value is worth it in gold. I love that the slide can go on either side of the bed, and that the hardware matches the white wood. In addition, there is a high weight limit on this bed, so we are still able to lay with our kiddo and read her bedtime stories without being afraid of falling through.
The ONLY minute downside is that we had to go and purchase hardy board to go under the mattress so that the blankets wouldnt go between the slats.
Easy to put together and very sturdy .
Only negative thing is the slide is to straight.
My 4 year old son went down twice and both times he got hurt hitting hard at the bottom.
Same thing with my 6 year old grandson.
The slide was the main reason I bought this bed. Now I wish I would have saved my money..
Any suggestions on making the slide safe and fun for the kiddos?
Disappointed mommy.

Now bedtime is even fun!!
Easy to assemble and has zero odor from the paint. Highly recommend this product.

Nice low loft bed.
Great height. Instructions were fairly easy to follow. One small broken piece in the box with no visible damage to the shipping box.
Dont buy it for the cute slide, you and your little one will be very disappointed!!
