DONT BUY THIS COUCH.
This is the worst made couch Ive ever seen. Crappy synthetic fabric that isnt fitted properly so it sags some places and stretches out of alignment at others. The fabric covering the back doesnt fit properly so it just hangs crookedly off the back instead of attaching to the frame with the velcro. The fabric covering the underside doesnt fit squarely and was ripped on one corner. Springs have no support (twining or other) so the first heavy person that drops on it will break them down. The pillows dont meet in the middle. And, the backs dont attach according to the instructions - you have to reverse sides - then theres no way to attach the back to the side. Im really sorry I wasted my money taking a chance on this,
I read all the reviews, and saw a few people complaining about it collapsing in the middle. I assume these people had two extra legs left over after assembly, and didnt know what to do with them. They go in the middle. Read the instructions. The way it is packed up is pretty slick, I appreciate the engineering that went into it. Once assembled, it took a few days for the foam cushions to expand all the way. We bought it to replace a beat-down loveseat that the dogs liked to sit on to look out the window and bark at things. The cover material seems pretty tough, but we bought a heavy-duty quilted cover to put on it anyway. It sits fairly comfortably, my wife can nap on it (shes 54), I can almost nap on it (62), and I like that the cushions come off to be able to clean the covers when needed. All in all, Im pleased. I didnt expect a whole lot for under $400, but have been pleasantly satisfied with it.
Zipper pulls on both seat cushions broke immediately. Both got stuck. Took a half an hour to get them to close. Now you wouldnt be able to remove for washing. Called number on instructions. Was told customer dept. was closed and someone would call on Friday. Of course no one called back.
I did NOT receive the pillows that comes with the sofa. It was not easy nor hard to put together but the packaging of the sofa was genius. 3.5 stars for missing pillows and for misleading that its simple to put together when its a medium task.
I did a lot of research on this loveseat. I was hesitant to order online sight unseen. There were about 80% terrible reviews and 20% rave reviews. But I had a feeling that I would like it. Its not the most comfortable in the world but its just fine and a great improvement over my old loveseat. I can stretch out and take a nice nap. I do a lot of reading and will enjoy my reading even more with this loveseat. My only gripe is with Federal Express (not or Cymax). The loveseat sat at Federal Express for an entire week; I tracked it and was promised delivery on various dates. Three days after the final date, it was finally delivered. One day more and I would have gotten 15% back, but Im sure that Cymax pressured Federal Express to get it to me on Monday. I called Federal Express and they said they were short of personnel. I know this is a major problem everywhere, including where I live.
Its a small couch that looks big and seats like it has room. Three people CAN sit together without sitting on top of one another, though its most comfortable for two. Its well made and sturdy, came assembled except for the legs which were easy.
The design is both classic and modern, a bit masculine with feminine charm. Its not a sink-into-deeply couch but it is surprisingly comfortable to sit in: angled well and just the right amount of deep in the seat that you dont need a pillow to fill in the space.
Love the color and the leather is excellent quality; padding is very firm.
We bought an unboxed couch and it was a great deal. No damage, no issues.

Sofa
I like the fabric and the color. It is very low to the floor. Not very deep. I guess its appropriate for the cost.
Not quite right
It came with one of the filler cushions already torn. And the velcro back doesnt reach on one side.
