I think only men wrote the previous reviews because these chairs were rated a5 in terms of assembly. Now, I had to do them myself and I did not find it quite as easy as indicated. It waseasy in terms of what had to be done but not soeasy in getting it done. My only other complaint would be that they are too top/heavy so if holding onto the rear top of the chair it can tip backwards. They should have weighted the legs.
However, they are very good looking and comfortable and were very reasonably priced. So, I guess you cant have everything
The first one I struggled with. By the third one, I had it figured out. Luckily I bought 8, because the support in one of them broke, when someone went to use it. I tried to fix it, but the support in the one chair was weak and I will have to dismantle the whole chair and replace the support.
I bought an 8 seater table from Pier 1 when it was on thegoing out of business clearance. These chairs are exact duplicates of the chairs that go with this table. I dont know about the negative reviews but I think these chairs are aming. They are sturdy, easy to assemble, comfortable and just PERFECT. The and trim are all very tightly in place and the color looks just like the picture. Someone said they have ablue tint to the but I dont agree with that either. They are just , at least the ones I received. They were packaged well, very well protected, no dings or chips, no damage anywhere. I t all 6 chairs together, alone, in about 3 hours. The bolts are tightened with an allen wrench and you have to hand tighten all of them(9 per chair), so my hands and thumbs are quite sore this morning but it was well worth the effort! The very last chair did not fit as flush as the others but it was workable and its just as sturdy. You have to read the directions first(this is why I assembled them instead of my husband) and not tighten them as far as you can but instead tightening them a little at a time. And yes, there were maybe 3 that werewobbly but I was able to work with the front legs a bit and was able to straighten them out for the most part, but mine are on an area rug(see pic) so the little bit ofwobbly isnt noticeable at all but can most likely be fixed by replacing the protective piece on the short leg with one a little thicker. They are just a few centimeters different on these 3, so not a big deal for me. The other 3 are perfect. I highly recommend these chairs, you wont be disappointed!
At first we were trying to t the chairs together my boyfriend was getting angry because it would not catch because the bolt was too short then I was trying to assemble another chair because 2 of us doing it would get it done faster and I realized there are longer and shorter bolts which they did not really specify in the instructions at all anywhere. So that is one problem that could be easily fixed if they just t that in the instructions there are 2 different sized bolts. Once we got that figured out though it went pretty fast and got all 4 of them up and ready.
They are very good chairs for their price I weigh only 100 lbs so it can hold me easily I am not sure how much my boyfriends 14 year old son weighs but hes maybe an inch taller than I am (I am 54) and my boyfriend is around 240 lbs 511 and the chairs hold him. So when assembled properly then they work pretty well. I am not sure how much weight they can hold up to but I guess Ill find out from either my grandmother who is over 300 and my brother who is also over 300 if they can hold them up without breaking.

Spacesaver. Sturdy little adult size chairs.
Nice little chairs; very sturdy, but not very cushioned.
Comfortable and affordable
Comfy addition to small dining. Floor tips are hard to scoot across carpet.
There are different sized bolts
