I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this piece was packaged. It was extremely easy to assemble. Its a good quality for the price. Its a firm seat but I like it. Super easy to extend into a full bed. Works perfect in my kids playroom.
I ordered the light gray couch and this is not light gray. This is white.
I checked the box and it says linen, gray. Be warned, its lighter than it shows. Its going right back, theres no way. We didnt even set it up, theres no point. Ordered a different couch. The fabric feels like outdoor furniture fabric, not something you really want to snuggle with
Putting aside that this piece arrived with one leg that was a little defective and wobbly, I found it too uncomfortable to sit on. There is almost no padding on the seat. When it lays flat, the surface is uneven, making it poorly suited as an extra sleepable. It's a shame because the sofa / futon looks nicer than the price but the comfort level just isn't there. I'm returning it.

So far, love it! Beautiful and perfect for a smaller room. Upgraded a playroom into a smaller family room. Reading some of the reviews has me wondering where it will be in a few months (especially with kids), but well see. After assembling and seeing it for myself, Im hopeful itll hold up well. I wanted a black couch, for a similar price, but couldnt find one, the charcoal gray color is actually perfect for the room. Would recommend.
Okay I like this couch just to be clear but it's not a good sleeping experience. I tried to sleep on it the first night we got it and it's just not comfortable. I think if you put a big cozy comforter underneath you it might work but if that's the surface you have to work with than fugeta 'bout it. It's hard which is fine if it's a sofa; but it's not fine if you want something that will give your guest a pleasant night's sleep. I do like the design of it though. It's a great Mid-Century Modern look and it has a low profile and it's not overly cushy so it doesn't take up a lot of space. It's not cozy but then again this era of design wasn't known for that quality. It's a nice dark blue color and it goes well with greys, browns, and lighter blue colors. The last thing I will say is that it is bear to put together by yourself. There are so many swinging aspects to this thing and unless it's completely level the backside of it wants to swing one way and with the hinge at the center of it it wants to swing apart like cupboard doors. (I know this sounds nonsensical but when you pull it out of the box you will understand what I'm talking about). You might think, well just keep it level then, but the problem is you need to get on it's underside and outside left and right to install the legs and arms and to do so I finally had to rest it on four chairs elevated with the sides hanging off - just to get all the necessary components installed. Good luck. I'd say add alcohol to your assembly process - enough to make it a tolerable experience but not too much so that you install the legs wrong.
This sofa came to our door in a box, and went together relatively easily. The color is great and it looks good. But its terribly uncomfortable. I can feel blocks of wood through the seat, and the springs poke through the seat. The two back sections do not align. Overall itll do for a room where we do not spend much time but Id be super disappointed if this were my main seating, and Im very reluctant to offer this as a futon for an overnight guest.

If you find a hard wood floor an acceptable sleeping surface than this will be a great night sleep.
