Be careful what mattress you buy no more than a 10 in I bought a 12 and its about flush with the side rail. But not the manufacturer fault it was my own
Just to let you know it comes in two packages and they may come on separate days. Mine came 3 days apart and the top came (carton 1) then 3 days later the second package came(carton 2). It is a great bed good value no cheaply made pieces ! You cant beat the price honestly! All pieces came undamaged and in working order! Very happy with this purchase!
I love my new bed frame! I now have plenty of space in my room. The box was very heavy and it requires at least 2 people to assemble it. The directions are pretty straight forward, the bed is very sturdy and worth the money!
This bed may look nice, but its a death trap! We have had this bed less than a year and tonight my son was climbing into bed and the ladder snapped in half. He could have been seriously hurt! The bed itself is not sturdy at all. We have tried everything to get it to stop wobbling to no avail. We will be putting his mattress on the floor tonight so he can sleep. Totally unacceptable.
I find that the material is high quality and visually appealing. I like that the stairs are slanted making it easier to go up and down. However it is wobbly but not enough where I am afraid its going to break and my frames came with scratches and dents with them but they arent noticeable afar. It is definitely a two person job tryna get this thing built.
Assembly would have been simple, IF it had came with an instruction book. Had to look online to find the instructions. Also, on of the pieces was cracked and I had to put wood glue on it to ensure it didnt splinter more. Other than those issues, everything fit and went together easily.
I just finished putting this together and didnt have any issues. I wouldnt try to assemble alone, its much easier with two people. I didnt screw the slats in because I saw other reviews of it splitting. Instead I stapled a ribbon on the slats so they wouldnt slide out. They sell the same concept on , but this was easier. My daughter hasnt slept on or yet (mattress has to fully puff up) but shes super excited.

Such a cute bed! Perfect for our 5 year olds room! She loved it! Seems sturdy !! The ladder can be put on either side which is nice !
