This is a beautiful bed. Appears to be very strong and great quality. Got a teeny confused on a couple things for a little bit while assembling it, but figured it out. Very happy with purchase.
I was able to assemble the bed by myself. It seems sturdy enough for my 7 year old and I even climbed in with her without the bed feeling wobbly (I weigh 160 Lbs).
Bought this bed for my 10 yr. old daughter. She loves her new bed. It is very nice but its not perfect. I dont expect anything to be in tip top shape. There are some cracks in the wood that appeared as her dad was putting it together. It is sturdy for her but my daughter is on the petite side. She is not overweight or anything like that. Im not sure if this bed will hold up if you have a child that is on the heavy side. It took her dad quite sometime to put this loft bed together but he was taking his time and was watching tv. Putting bed sheets on this bed is not so easy. I have scratched myself on the wood. Also, there was a very strong paint smell coming from this bed because it is painted white. My daughter could not sleep on this bed for 3 or 4 days. It was that strong. I found that lighting a candle and keeping the room well ventilated helped the smell. It completely went away after a couple of days. All in all this bed is very beautiful and has lots of space underneath. She loves it and really thats all that matters.
Wanted a bunk/desk that didnt look too kid like for our 5 year old who is remote learning. The long flat desk surface is just what we were looking for. We both work from home and can easily sit next to him during his day with plenty of room for the both of us.
The construction was a bit cumbersome and definitely will take hours if you dont have an electric drill. Please dont try to do this with only the tool they supple.
The tip someone left about buying a mattress that is 5-6 inches was super helpful. Anything taller and Im not sure Id have felt comfortable with my almost-6-year old sleeping up there. I went with the LUCID 5 Inch Memory Foam Low Profile-Cooling Gel Infusion-Hypoallergenic Bamboo Charcoal-Breathable Cover Bed Mattress Conventional, Twin, White and boy is this thing comfortable! So happy with it and the bunk.

This thing was a monster to put together, but primarily bc two pieces were mislabeled (stickers on pieces), so I had to figure out why it wasnt working right and then take it half way back apart to redo it. Not fun. At all. It took me about 4.5 hours to put together. But we got it done and it looks great and is highly functional for us. It was unfortunate that two pieces were wrongly labeled.
Nice and sturdy loft. Definitely need 2 people to put it together. My daughter has a dog and cat, so we built a set of steps that lead up to the bed. Our steps added to the strength of the bed and solidified the whole unit. Certainly a good bang for the buck.
I ordered this so my daughter would have a desk and a bed which going this route takes up less room in her bedroom. This went together pretty easily. Definitely takes two people to build. My mom and I did it. My daughter absolutely loves it!
