I was able to put the bed together myself, with the use of make-shift shims. The photos were easy to understand, while there are no written instructions. The only real difficulty I had was getting the full mattress onto the bed frame once assembled! The frame appears very sturdy. Its made by , which makes outstanding products.
The bed looks really nice when put together. Its pretty sturdy and looks like it will hold up. I even climb up in it with my daughter to read her stories and it feels stable, though the 2 of us together are under 200 pounds. My only complaint is that the railing doesnt cover the entire front of the bed. We are going to add an extra board to ensure no one falls out. I also wish it would have said somewhere that you need a 6 inch mattress. The one we had was about 8.5 inches and it came up to the bottom edge of the top rail so was not at all safe. After getting a different mattress, it is much better!

I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old son. He has a very small bedroom and I needed to accomplish 2 things; transition him from a toddler bed to a big boy bed and also optimize his room space. This bed did exactly that for me! I was able to assemble this in a couple hours w the help of 2 good friends. It was very easy to understand the instructions and I was missing no pieces or parts and everything came together nicely. There were a few minor mishaps, some areas cracked when assembling but did not seem to affect the overall sturdiness of the bed nor did it affect the actual assembly. I was hesitant to attempt to climb into bed w my son bc Im a bit on the curvier side and I didnt want to risk it but it is very sturdy and Ive been on it several times while making his bed or just relaxing.

Setting this bed up was mostly easy. Just be sure to pay close attention to the directions so you dont have to do it all again. You will need 2 people to put it together. Its a pretty wobbly bed. I had to anchor it to the wall for stability. Every 2 months I would recommend checking all the bolts. They tend to loosen considerably.

Good for the price but get the right mattress

The only thing wrong with it is one of the steps dont fit in the whole because the wood was cut wrong

Perfect! Easy to assemble and feels sturdy. We anchors it to the wall. I suggest doing that for more stability!
