This table was very easy to put together. Very Sturdy, Elegant and Beutiful. My Humidor fits perfectly on top and looks aming as a showpiece. The drawer is perfect for holding all the cigar accessories. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality table.
Im not marking this down at all because its a great price and the tables look terrific. Im very pleased. Both that I bought ARE true black and are finished well. I didnt care for the knobs, but I put new ones on that I really like. The bottom line is that they look great in my living room, theyre sturdy, and they saved me some money. If you have lots of cash lying around, get something perfect. But these were easy to assemble, worth the cost, and Im really enjoying them.
If you bought this at wal mart or home goods it would cost like 70.00. I made the mistake of buying a used one. Even if it was new i still would have returned. The picture looks nice but its worth spending 20.00 more for a good night stand
There are slight imperfections to this table, but for the price it really is a steal! The color is in fact black, but I wouldnt call it a true black. There is a slight chestnut undertone, but it is not noticeable enough that it clashes with any of my other black furniture. Im using this table as a nightstand, but could easily see it used as an end table. This table does not wobble, which was my biggest concern when I saw the price. Assembly is simple.
I bought these tables for my fiance to help accent her living room and they really look nice. At first I was a bit concerned after reading some of the other reviews and even at one point had decided not to buy them, but she seemed to really want them so I eventually came around. Unfortunately, the tables were not without their issues, but overall, we are satisfied with the product.
Appearance
The finish is actually quite nice. The tables were certainly larger than we expected, but still work nicely as end table. Some of the coloring on the legs is a tad rough in spots, but its nothing any of your guests would ever see. No complaints on appearance.
Assembly
Craftsmanship left a lot to be desired. I struggled to line up some of the legs so that I could screw them into the top of the table. One of the legs actually wouldnt fit at all and I had to alter it so that I could attach it. The dowel that must be inserted in order to stop the drawer from falling out is a pain as well. After struggling to get it in (hopefully you dont have large hands) I realized that it would not hold on its own and I had to get an adhesive and start all over! These are the two biggest problems I had with the tables. The dowel isnt all that bad, but poor drilling of the holes can be the difference between a table and a worthless stack of wood. If youre not used to putting things together and/or altering them, dont bother with these.
Quality
The tables actually feel quite sturdy. They offer a large amount of surface area and feel like they could hold most things that would reasonably be placed on top of them with ease. The legs provide a solid base and, while mine were placed on carpet, I experienced no wobble or anything of the sort. This was somewhat surprising after the discouraging experience I had with assembly.
Overall
Nice tables for a great price if you have patience and are comfortable solving problems with assembly when the manufacturer does a less than stellar job. If not, I would avoid these tables completely.
i purchased two of these side tables. they are black and it does have flaws but not in places that you can see. One of the tables went together perfectly but the second table not so much. the hardwhere did not match up properly so i couldnt use two out of four of the brackets for the botton portion of the table. Even with only two brackets it is very sturdy amd both tables look great! LOVE LOVE LOVE
Ok, first of all, these tables give you a good bang for your buck.they are made of solid wood however, quality is lacking.
after reading the reviews I was hoping that I would get the dark brown color unfortunately I got black which is exactly as advertised.
I bought 2 tables although one table is far better than the other.
no real complaints about the good table however the bad table has some workmanship issues. it came scratched and the top had been machined improperly.
assembly was a breeze. 1 piece of advice would be to install all the screws loosly and in the end Tighten all the bolts together.

These were a gift to my girlfriend
These were a gift to my girlfriend and she just loves them! They re a rich mahogany, sturdy for the price, and look nice in her sitting room.

Minor defect found
One of the two threaded anchors that attaches the table top to one of the legs is missing. I am hoping that the other 7 anchors will be sufficient.
