The instructions were so simple. The screws were sealed and numbered on one cardboard. There were even extra parts and screws provided. The product is sturdy and well made. The storage is exactly as it is pictured. Highly recommend it. I am a 74 year old woman who put it together with minimum assistance from my son. The only complaint I have is that it is not made in the USA.
I purchased this bed to replace and an old captains bed I had in our small guest bedroom. After researching this particular bed, had the best price. It came in 2 boxes and nicely packaged with all that I needed to assemble it. Pretty easy to assemble, you need 2 people. The bed is really beautiful and very sturdy. I bought the grey color which looks a bit taupe and it was the perfect color since I didnt want a true grey bed. The ease of the gas lift and storage is what makes this bed outstanding. The storage space is deep and huge (twin) and very nicely done. If youre looking for a nice upholstered bed with maximum ease and storage, look no further, this is for you.

Purchased a king, had it for a couple weeks now and are extremely Happy with it. Works great! Awesome if you need storage room. Also realized that you would never know it has storage space in it until you lift it so if your trying to put away private things its perfect. Takes About a few hours to assemble but Im not a very handy either so. Definitely recommend 2 people to build. Comes with the tools you need to assemble it with. Certainly recomend this bed.
We like it however, the corners are sharp so if youre not careful you can really bruise your leg. ? It would be nice to see two more next to the existing 2. I like this unit and would buy again.
5 Month update: I was moving my bed and noticed a loud awful rattling/scratching noise. Looked under the bed the foot in the middle of the bed bent sideways along with the bar that was supporting the foot. I can still use my bed like normal, I just cant move it anymore without scratching my floor.
I moved my bed 1 time before this without issues. If you get this bed, DONT move it unless you remove any items inside the storage part first.
Ive had it for about 2 weeks now. Its holding up good I fit more stuff in it than I anticipated. Its a bit taller than expected but then again I didnt properly measure the height before buying. The headboard is on the shorter side but thats something I like since my bed is under a window. Overall I really like this bed frame

When I purchased this bed I had not read the reviews. Afterwards I had a look at them, and felt afraid, because many of those reviews were extremely negative.

Seriously. Its ok. For less than 300 youre getting just the right amount of quality. Its all particle board, so you have to be careful when handling it when assembling.
The instructions were extremely clear. Not heiroglyphic. Not cryptic. Very straight forward. The illustrations were very crisp and concise. Im sorry to say it, but anybody who was confused by this, wasnt paying attention and following the instructions to the letter.
The bed is sturdy enough. Again, you wont be taking this thing down a flight of stairs, as it is particle board. But its isnt deceptive. If you punch a hole in this, its due to abuse, not normal wear and tear. If you assemble it wrong because you didnt follow the instructions, then youre liable to break things on it.
I read a complaint saying that the box was too heavy. It is pretty heavy. I suggest you assemble the bed in pieces. I unpacked it downstairs, and brought the sections up individually, and assembled it in my room. No problem at all.
I doubt the bed will last me 5/10 years. But my expectation from a sub 300 bed isnt more than 5 years in any case

Kind of good. 1 issue ? so much better that box springs.
