These chairs are not the most comfortable but I ordered an ottoman to go with them and it definitely helps. Im not going to cuddle up and take a nap on them or even want to read a book, but its perfect for a sitting area.
This is a quality piece of furniture - really nice for the price. Super easy to put together. But it is firm. When you first sit in it you are like woah -why is this so hard? But then when you aot for a while it is comfortable. Just that first slump into the couch is very much not with this one.

I am definitely a snob about couches, but I did want to give this one a chance. My roommate and I were looking for something small and inexpensive for our first apartment, so we werent expecting an Ethan Allen. However, we cant really use the back cushions. The bottom of the couch isnt wide enough from front to back to accommodate the cushions and a person, so the bottom cushion kind of hits mid-thigh (for reference, I am 54). Fine if you just need to sit, but not great if you actually want to be comfy. We end up just taking the back cushions off and using pillows instead. It works, but the design could use some adjustments.
I absolutely love my chair and set up here. It works great for gaming, working, reading, chilling with my kids or friends when they come over. The side table rolls and raises for easy access! I move around a lot and even share with my adult friend or husband sometimes and its held strong.

its wider which is what i wanted. sturdy and a nice color. I changed the legs to update it more to my taste. its super nice for the price.
