I was a bit concerned when the outside box showed quite a bit of shipper's rash. Two corners of the were damaged quite severely allowing some foam packing material to spill out. When I opened the box I found everything protected by thick 1 foam pads and absolutely no shipping damage. The hardware was carefully packaged and the parts were clearly labeled making inventorying and checking it with the contents list in the instructions a breeze. I felt there would be no surprises this morning when I started assembly . There were no issues with parts not fitting correctly and only hand tools were needed. I recommend this item.
I have never loved and hated something so much!!! First, it was the GREATEST/Easiest piece of furniture I've EVER put together!! I put it together all by myself!! The directions were clear and the parts were all placed in separate bags for ease! Also each part went together like it was suppose to, everything fit RIGHT!! When does that happen?!?! Never till this time for me!! It is beautiful, BUT OMG .... THE SMELL WAS HORRIFIC!!! It took WEEKS for the toxic smell to go away. I put baking soda in the draw area and in the shelving area to help absorb what's still lingering inside the island. I STILL haven't put anything in the cabinets that have been opened. I'm worried the odor will absorb into the food! Even weeks after, every time walking into the kitchen it would hit you like the smell of skunk does!
Very nice! All solid wood or hardboard. Easier to assemble than expected. My only complaint was the top that you raise up feels like it's not adequately supported. Although no issues with it yet!

No crappy fiber board or chip board!

Easy assembling
By far one of the easiest furniture I have had to assembled took me about 45 min,feels very sturdy and it looks nice

Great product for the price but my leaf doesn't prop up all the way. It's not as sturdy as I would like.
