It takes about an hour to assemble this kitchen island. Yet that's not what was disappointing. The top surface was scratched up,and if it scratches so easily how can you have confidence in preparing food on it? It is very wobbly and that was after we went over it to retighten. And as of yet,we don't think that the wheels lock and it glides all over the place. I'm so disappointed and to return it i has to be taken apart, but I don't think I have a choice. Not usable for what it's intended to be.

Assembly was a lot of pieces, but it was well ordered and each step was easy. The overall assembly took longer than expected because there are a lot of parts. Everything fits nicely and the final result looks great.
If you are parking this on wood or tile I recommend some thing rubber pads for the two legs to keep them from sliding.
This is the perfect size for my small kitchen, not easy to assemble but once its done it looks amazing for the price. We use it as a kitchen island so I wish there was a way to lock the wheels but overall a great deal!

But we can already tell that the countertop portion is going to disintegrate from even the most casual encounter with moisture. I still think it was worth the money even if we have to replace it in a year.
Such a great piece! I use mine as a coffee bar and absolutely love it! Its not the easiest to assemble but I was able to do it on my own in a couple hours.

I really like the Blk/Cherry combination ... very sharp. Using it as a utility cart in the kitchen for cookbooks, mixing bowls, serving bowls and fruit cart -
