This thing was kind of a pain to put together…but that wouldnt prevent me from buying again. It feels super sturdy and gave me the extra storage and counter space I needed. All that for like a hundred dollars seemed like a god deal to me. With all that said—the drawer is barely functional. Its super shallow in both depth and width and it is a total pain to open and close.
The assembly was pretty easy for the most part doing this from the comfort of my couch. My only gripe is STEP 9 IS WRONG with the drawer pegs need to be swapped as the guide rails will not sit flush and you will damage the rail as you can see in my picture attached. Luckily I never tighten anything full strength with the power drill level set to 1.
The product itself is beautiful and looked as expected, my only complaint is assembly. The parts and tools are clearly labeled, however the instructions themselves are just pictures. At the start they are very easy to follow but as it goes on it gets increasingly more difficult to understand how the pieces align together. Im not the most experienced with building, but Ive put together multiple other pieces from , Walmart etc.. This was, by far, the most frustrating process.
This kitchen island is so much nicer than I thought it would be. I was nervous because many reviewers were claiming that it was very difficult to put together. I couldn't disagree more. I'm a 61 year old woman with no experience putting things together, but it only took me 2 hours (leisurely) to put this together completely by myself. The instructions were good, occasionally it took me a little to figure out something because it was all pictures, but it didn't take long to do. Everything was labeled and went together easily. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
More of a review of , not the product. My talented friend had to reverse engineer the product using a phone sized picture to assemble the table given the diagram and instructions were not included with the product...a delay given we were assembling several products in one day!
Easy enough to assemble, but the wrench provided to tighten the wheels didnt fit the wheels. Due to slim size, I had to just hand tighten the wheels.
A little hard to pound the pegs used for drawer stops too, but got them in.
But quality is good and it looks great.
This works great to add kitchen counter space for cooking. It seems sturdy and looks nice. My only complaint is its unnecessarily difficult to put together. At one point I thought I wasnt going to be able to get it together over one piece not cooperating.
