We bought this mainly for our daughters room as a place to sit and read but Ive also used it extensively when guests come to stay or when I work late and dont want to disturb the family. Its really comfortable. Stable and firm with just enough padding. The materials have a good quality feel. Great purchase. I would recommend.

I think it would be perfect if adding a topper on it for an adult to sleep in or for longer than just a night. I think it gives options but its comfortable as is.
