Makes my old sofa bed feel as comfortable as a regular bed. My son gave this to me as a birthday gift to use in my small pied/à/terre NYC studio apartment. (He probably had an ulterior motive since he and his girlfriend occasionally use the apartment when they come in from out/of/town and mentioned that the old was uncomfortable!) It was delivered free by FedEx within in 9 days coming from California. Since it was vacuum packed, the box was only about 4 feet tall and 1 foot wide (which another reviewer pointed out before I purchased it). My old was 72 x 59. This one is slightly longer than advertised at about 72.5 (which was no problem in fitting my frame since the foam compresses a bit making for a perfect fit) but only 58 wide. However, this 1 difference is not a problem. The small space on the width of the frame is hardly noticeable. Furthermore its no problem at all when sitting on the side of the , say to get up or put on your shoes, since the foam is nice and firm. One of my concerns was that since my old was only 4 thick and this one is 4.5, I might have a problem closing the bed. To my surprise it closed fine. The best feature is that you dont feel the support bars of the frame AT ALL! A great added feature is that it comes with a no/skid, washable zippered cover for extra protection and comfort. All in all, this was a great buy. Well see how well it holds up in the long run.
Great texture and thickness. I used this to put on top of the existing La/Z/Boy that came with the twin pull out bed. I was told it was comfortable and my guest said it felt nice.
