Every single review with a picture is boasting. Do not believe anyone who says this was easy to assemble. I assembled this dresser by myself with just a screwdriver and a hammer and it took me 7 hours.
First of all, this thing comes in a heavy box that is filled with wooden planks. Absolutely nothing is pre/assembled, so you will have to fasten all the screws manually. The kicker: the wood planks do not have pre/drilled holes, so I had to use full force to squeeze drills into their respective un/drilled planks using a handheld Phillips head screwdriver. In retrospect, I should have used a power drill the manual said not to, so I didnt.
A bit about the wood these panels are not made of solid wood. They are much thinner (approx. 2/in) strips that have been glued together and cleverly stained to look continuous from a distance. So, if you are screwing into a point where two planks meet using a screwdriver (dont), youll have to plunge your entire body weight into the tip of the screwdriver while twisting clockwise just to get the screw to catch.
I would absolutely not recommend that you assemble this yourself unless you are incredibly patient and frankly masochistic. Two things I would have changed: get someone to help out, use power tools.
The instructions provided really sucked, no picture showing how it should look just drawn diagrams. I had hard time building it trying to follow the diagram instructions then I really screwed up setting the wooden slats to guide the shelfs into dresser. Then building this on it side per diagram seemed very unstable, when I had the middle section set and screwed to attached outer section in appeared to be crooked I had to undo it try again thats when my fiance son noticed I had done the guides incorrectly and had used the glue for dowel pins which has complicated things further. I may have to buy something else for fiance for her underwear and under garments. Or pay to buy this product again.
This nightstand was just what I needed for my sons room! Its hard to find furniture in the wood color, and this looks great. I almost didnt buy it because of all the negative reviews about putting it together, but my husband didnt have any issues. Sure, it takes longer than a simple piece from Target or , but he said it wasnt bad.
We ordered this and we had broken side panels. When we contact the company directly they shipped us out new panels immediately which was great! As we were assembling the middle panel was a little warped so the drawers do not slide smoothly in one area. Also to note these drawers are not on tracks, so they are not very easy to open. One of my least favorite pieces Ive purchased from , but that said, it works and its good looking and its doing its job by holding my clothes. So ok!

Clear instructions and very well laid out. This went together quickly and is very sturdy! Happy with my purchase
