These are surprisingly sturdy and well executed, and I have a bit of experience with cheap furniture! Fairly large, wide and deep, plenty of room. The cushions are firm, but to me, good for this style of chair/ its not a la/z/boy sink into the cushions type thing, but still comfy. Wood parts look very nice, though is thin (some folks mention adding a little clear coat before assembly). Assembly is not too tough, though I recall the instructions being a little vague. You will need to drive three screws in which purposefully do not have holes pre drilled/ these secure the seat to the frame and youll need a screwdriver and some elbow grease if you dont have an electric drill. Also, unclear in the instructions, dont tighten up the three bolts which join the bottom and back cushion units untill you get the thing mostly assembled. All in all, we enjoy these, they look nice, and are holding up well after a couple months. For the price, thats pretty good. Other furniture in the same process range has not fared so well.
My hubby and I
Pleasantly surprised at how nice looking this chair is. It looks gorgeous and expensive and it doesnt look like a recliner. It is very hearty and stiff, it may loosen up as used but not too uncomfortable just not a sink down in comfy chair if thats what your looking for.
Love this chair its right size for my husband, but yet not to big and not too tacky. I really do not like most recliner, I think they look really tacky.
This is classy and can fit well in any living room
Just wanted to reiterate what other reviews have stated:
1. The instructions are confusing, so please dont momentarily question your intelligence.
2. Flip the seat over and peel back the velcro cover to access the panel referenced in step 1.
3. The chair is VERY firm and not the most comfortable, but this might extend its longevity. A throw pillow might help.
4. The chair seems sturdy and is steady // no wobble detected.
Overall, I think its a good deal for the price.
Package came with the wrong parts
I will like this chair once it can be assembled correctly. Unfortunately, the package came with 2 right arms (theyre side dependant, cant just flip one over).
This chair came well packaged and it was kind of hard to figure out the directions but it finally came together and WOW, what a nice chair!! I love the roominess, quality, color and overall comfortableness. This is a nice chair for a den or living room. Nice Mid/Century Modern design, AAA.
Make sure you follow directions! If you put this chair together the right way its a really great firm chair. Great for a lap top computer or just an accent chair.
