This bed is perfect for what I needed. I was nervous, but the queen bed does fit underneath between the ladder and the footboard. The ladder is accessible and both kids are happy. Also very sturdy. I Would recommend having at-least three human to get pieces together a lot easier.
It is a beautiful piece of furniture that well have for many years. And our 3yo loves it; a brand new big kid bed. The loft was easy to put together, but required 2 people. The stairs only required 1 person, but were a bit tricky. Took me about 6 hours. Pay close attention to the drawings in the directions! It arrived in 3 boxes, well-packed with no damage and plenty of hardware. I am impressed.
All the parts are labeled. The instruction could be better though. Dont tighten anything beyond hand tight before checking the next step. Also dont overtighen the bolt that hold the desk on. The bolts will crack through the desk top.
Its a nice bed other than the fact that one leg was busted. I had to redrill a lot of the holes due to them not being present or not being drilled enough.

Would have been helpful to have a second person holding boards at certain times. Very very very nice piece. Exceeds my expectations. This is perfect for my seven year old. Very sturdy.
It would definitely be best to have two people to put the bed together. It is very sturdy. I had one of the two support beams break within a week of putting it together from being warped. I contacted customer service and they quickly responded, gathered the needed information by a couple of emails and quickly got the replacement part sent. They were very kind, considerate and understanding. I would definitely recommend this bed and have no hesitation contacting customer service if you have any issues.

The railing height is perfect for my 4 year old. The stairs are safely nice and wide. The color is just so elegant and pretty, can be used for both girl and boy.
Stop searching for a loft bed, and invest in this one.
