I bought the round version with the rectangular frame. Its a beautiful mirror. I love the modern, minimal design, with its layering of clean geometric shapes. Its very chic. It looks great on the wall above my vanity. I see that a lot of people had issues with these mirrors arriving damaged or flawed in some way. Im sorry that those people had that experience. I can say that my mirror arrived in perfect condition, no cracked glass, no scratches, no flaws in the soldered joints of the metal frame. Beautiful. It actually looks more expensive than it was. It was well packaged with a layer of foam over the glass to protect it in shipping, and foam over the frame.
The only issue that I had was that it was difficult to hang. Reading the reviews, it seems like most people had an easy time doing that, but I didnt. After placing screws into the wall, I just couldnt get the openings on the back of the mirror to hook onto them, even though I measured the spacing very carefully. So, my solution was to take a piece of heavy gauge steel wire that can hold up to 100 pounds, and string it across the back of the mirror, with the ends of the wire looped and twisted securely through those two openings on the back. Then I removed the screws from the wall and replaced them with small hooks. I then hooked the wire into the hooks. This solution worked really well. It turned out nice and neat. The wire doesnt show at all. Yay! The mirror seems well made, and it looks very stylish in my bedroom with my modern black furniture. I love the way the three-dimensional metal frame casts a shadow on the wall. It adds such nice visual depth. This mirror has such a nice, clean design. Im very happy with it.
Love this mirror and its unique look. It can blend with many styles in my opinion to go modern, farmhouse, or a more classic look. You can also mount it vertical or horizontal if you wish to add some spice. I actually have it sitting behind a giant glass bottle and it looks really great and adds a lot of interest. Its edge is thick, dark colored metal, and a little rustic. The mirror is actually thinner than I thought but we love it none the less. The pictures do it justice, just check the measurements.
