Update: Im still loving my couch! I get so many compliments from friends and family! Worth every penny!
I just purchased my first home and waiting for furniture has been taking up to 8 months! I needed a couch now! I ordered the blue velvet sectional and I dont regret it at all! It shipped very fast! It was very easy to put together! Its comfortable and looks great in my living room! My friends and family have all oohd and awd over it! I have 2 dogs (Australian Shepherds) and they shed a lot! It catches some dog hair but comes off very easy! I am so happy with this couch! Just get it!
I've had this couch for about 3 weeks and wanted to leave a review for anyone on the fence about buying this couch.
The Good:
Assembly: Holy crap is this thing easy to assemble. It took me literally 5 minutes. What's really nice is if you're moving, you can easily disassemble it and move it in an average-sized car if you needed to.
Sturdiness: For a self-assembled couch, it's really sturdy. The cushions even have velcro strips on them to keep them from slipping.
Appearance: The color is really nice. Overall, it's not a bad couch to look at.
Orientation: You can move the stand for the long cushion to either side, so it works in any living room.
Delivery: If you need a couch quickly like I did, the delivery for this couch was really fast. I think I got mine in about a week.
The bad:
Size: It's really small for a sectional. I'm 6'2 and sitting straight up my feet hang just over the end of the long cushion so I can't really lounge in it. I think it would sit two people comfortably. Three people would be a little cramped.
Comfort: The cushions are really firm. This could be good in the long run, after I've broken them in for months, but it just isn't really comfortable as of now. I think I'll have to repack the cushions with better foam at some point in the next year or so. The long cushion also came with uneven packing, so it sags inward on one side of it. The fabric isn't very comfortable on the skin.
Vacuum Seal Packing: The cushions come in vacuum-sealed bags and are extremely wrinkled, even several days outside of packing. You need a blow dryer to get all the wrinkles out of the cushions.
Overall, it's not a terrible couch, but I don't see myself having this couch for more than 2-3 years before I upgrade to something bigger and more comfortable.
I purchased and received this couch last month (October 18, 2021). After owning this couch for one month, I would not recommend this product. Initially, I was ecstatic when I found this couch on . The pictures looked amazing, and I thought it would make a great addition to my living room. When the couch finally arrived, I set it up within an hour. Overall, assembly was straightforward, and I was happy that the couch looked exactly like the picture. The cushions came vacuum sealed with the manual indicating that it will take 72 hours to fully expand. To this day, some areas of the cushions never fully expanded. Additionally, the backrest cushions are not evenly stuffed. When I sit on the couch, the cushions feel lumpy and stiff. I like to have friends over on the weekend, and it is now a running joke to avoid sitting on the couch because it is uncomfortable lol.
The couch also creaks a ton. I know when someone sits down or gets up from the couch because I can hear it from across my apartment. I disassembled my couch partially to ensure that all the pieces were securely locked in place; however, the creaking persists. If you are already sitting on the couch and are shifting around, the creaking is less dramatic.
Also, if you have sensitive skin, or eczema, be careful. My eczema hasn't flared up since college (from the dorms); however, after I started sitting and napping on this couch, within 2 hours, my eczema would start flaring up again. The fabric is a little scratchy, which irritates my skin.
I would recommend really thinking about this purchase. The sofa is expensive for what it is. And if you experience the same issues I have, it will be a hassle to return it. If anything, keep ALL the original packaging, while you test to see if the couch is a good fit. Unfortunately, I threw away all the original packaging, as it was taking up too much space, and by the time I realized the issues with the couch, I couldn't return it.
TLDR - If you are going for aesthetics, this is an okay couch to get. If you are going for comfort, I would not recommend this couch. It is uncomfortable to sit on and the fabric may irritate your skin. Also, the couch is quite loud as it creaks when you sit down, get up, or shift around on it.
The couch is very pretty! Definitely makes my living room look nicer but the box had a hole in it, looks like something snagged it, so it caused a tear it the corner. I was hoping that it wouldnt be noticeable but its right in the top corner of the couch :/ I did get 25% back which was pretty cool but that was before I found more damaged areas ;( other than that its not to bad of a couch and its extremely easy to assemble but probably going to need 2 people to assemble it.
The sofa is very nice looking and is constructed well for the price point. My one complaint is that the sitting cushions are a little too stiff. I am hopeful that over time the cushions will become more comfortable as they get broken in. Overall, it is true to the photos and worth the price.
This couch was super easy to assemble- I did it by myself in 30 min. And its gorgeous! After putting it together, I told myself Id sit on it for an hour or two to test it out. I was supposed to go for a jog in the afternoon but ending up sitting on this couch for the rest of the day! So obviously it serves its function as a couch well.. Maybe too well. I paid $620 and I think it was well worth the investment.
Ive had this for about a month and a half now. I live alone with no pets. Its very small… But perfect for me (Im 53, 100 pounds). No complaints here. Was easy to assemble. Great for a i live alone in my first apartment couch.
