This was a good value for what we paid. We will use it for a bit and then use it in our office for our dog who has fallen in love with it since he can now see out the window and watch people on the street.
For the price, this is a nice loveseat. It was exactly what we needed for our computer room to have some additional seating.
I'm giving it 5 stars because of the price, speedy delivery, and ease of putting it together.
However there are drawbacks to this loveseat. It is NOT comfortable out of the box. The backseat cushions were supposed to be vacuum sealed (according to the instructions),but they were not. They were flat and floppy.
I bought polyfil and plumped up the back cushions, and it was a HUGE improvement on the look and comfort of this loveseat. Added some pillows because the arm rests are hard and not comfortable either.
I plan on staining the legs too to make them darker. I think that'll be the last touch to really make this loveseat shine.
I spoke directly with the man who sold me this sofa, turkey nice to speak to genuine person these days lol. He was so polite and even offered me a discount. The couch wasnt too heavy when Im its box, I (16yr old female) carried it up two flights of stairs on my own. The arms, cushions, and legs are actually stored inside the bottom of the couch for nice compact-able shipping. I added photos of the back cushions and how they attach because Ive never seen a sofa designed like this before. Theres about a three inch gap between the back of the couch and the seat itself, a piece of fabric Velcros to from the seat to the back of the sofa, and the cushions Velcro to the back of the couch and kind of sit on the piece of fabric. Its a very nice design considering the back cushions do not intrude on the seat depth. Its very sturdy, Ive had mine for a few weeks now. It was wobbly at one point but it was because I didnt want to screw everything too tight and not have the back fit on, and ended up forgetting to tighten stuff after- so thats on me. But after tightening it, its good as new lol. Definitely recommend as a cost effective item to add seating to a bedroom or living space. Although the bottom cushion is not THE most comfortable cushion, its certainly not uncomfortable and progressively get more comfortable the more you use it. If your considering buying, I definitely would; and its just an added bonus that your supporting a business owner who is a very sweet and genuine person even in our brief encounter. Incomplete, no arm rests, no back bag cushions, no vacuum packing cushions, completely hard to read and hard to follow instructions, not that it could matter because the product cant be assembled anyway because Im missing all the parts. I am so upset.
{Edit} alright so turns out all the missing pieces I believed to be absent from this order were actually stored in a velcro compartment on the large sitting area of the sofa. After being walked through where to find these objects I realized the instruction was placed on the instruction sheet, however it was so cryptic and unclear that I fell to recognize it. Then to assemble it was very difficult for me to assemble by myself, of course I succeeded at assembling the sofa, but if youre uncoordinated and a tad strength depleted, I suggest you have a extra pair or hands when you get to assembling the sofa. The seller was very quick to respond to my questions, and I appreciate that. I find it comfortable because I prefer firmer surfaces, but if youre looking for cushiness and softness, this product is not appropriate for you. All in all, this product serves the purpose which it was intended for so I am somewhat satisfied with the sofa, I feel like the engineers can improve the instructions by a lot, and they should invest in providing video references for assembly.
Once I finally got it, ten days late thanks to the seller and FedEx having a bit of a back and forth, I was happy. Super easy to assemble, only took me ten minutes to put together. I like how everything came inside of the bottom for storage. Thankfully, its pretty sturdy.
Biggest downside is, and obviously for the price youre paying, its just not going to be as comfortable as one would hope. The pillows are great for the back, but the actual cushion is beyond stiff and extremely uncomfortable. For its price, its not bad, but still kind of sucks.
The look of this couch is great, it matches a mid century modern style. It was super easy to assemble and didnt take much time at all. The back pillows could use a little extra padding and its a very firm couch, but great for the price. The seller was super responsive and easy to work with when my product was reported as lost!
