Bed took a few hours to put together but has a lot of pieces. It was easy to assemble. If its on a level floor its very sturdy. The bottom bed has a lot of clearance to the top bunk.
This is a high quality bed. I bought two for my kids that share a room and they look fantastic. Sturdier than I expected, and probably about as sturdy as a bed can be, but they do wobble a bit when kids climb up the ladder. I bought my own wall anchors instead of using the included pieces, and that really helped with the wobbling once I double bolted them into wall studs.
My only warning that I havent seen in other reviews is to wear gloves or bandaids on your fingers to avoid blisters when putting this together. The instructions are really clear and straightforward, but there are like 20,000 bolts and most of them require a hefty amount of finger tightening before using the always awkward Allen wrenches in tight spaces.
I put two of these together by myself because apparently Im bad at planning and life is pain. I used kitchen chairs to prop up the sides when it was time to assemble the larger pieces at right angles, so you could do that too, or spare yourself and wrangle some help from someone. It took me about 3 hours per bed and RIP to my fingers. Totally worth it for the end result, tho. Definitely recommend.
Ive had this bed a few months now and its gonna hold up for a long time. The only problem is, as many people have said, the building, which even for a robotics student required close to 8 hours and a ton of headaches.
This bed is pretty sturdy. I love how much space it gives us to put a desk and chair. My sons room wasnt very big and wouldnt allow room for a desk. But this sure did fix that problem
Took my father, daughter and I about 2/3 hours to put this together. Seems pretty sturdy, wobbles when my daughter gets in the bed but thats to be expected. Im sure if I attached it to the wall it would be better. The ladder rungs are so painful so I need to get something to cover them but so far so good
We bought two of these and have built one so far with my 10 year old kid in an hour and a half. Instructions were clear depending on which side you want to have the ladder. It was a tad wobbly when they climbed up, so had my husband (boiler mechanic) tighten all screws when he got home. Still wobbly, doesnt feel in danger of tipping but our previous bunk beds were rock solid compared to this. We will be mounting to the wall as it wakes my kids up when they roll over etc.
The is a pretty color and able to fit a desk and cubbies under!

This bunk bed is sturdy and make sure you read the instructions
Easy to build
Its a great product but I do wish it was a bit more sturdy. It shakes a little.
