This bed frame works well for an older adult who has difficulty getting into a taller bed. It was easy enough to assemble with two people, but note that it would be difficult with one person or limited agility! We had to unpack the box in the front hall and carry the pieces to his room. The blue on the corner of the bed is a pool noodle that I taped on there to prevent broken toes. The bed is lightweight enough to pull out from the wall when changing sheets. My son plans to buy one for his apartment because he likes the low bed look. It did come in a variety of heights and has quality wooden slats.
Its easy to put together especially with the cool hex ratchet that comes with it! A keeper tool! Looks nice. However, it is very low to the ground. About 8 inches lower than the previous bed. Its ok but seems seriously close to the ground. 18 mattress.
Its a good bed / sturdy and assembly is about half an hour. Easy to do with numbered instructions that have stickers on the parts you need to put together. Looks as I expected / very satisfied.
Ive assembled a lot of furniture. This is the best packaged, labeled, and fitting piece of furniture I have ever assembled. Put the end of the part with the 1 sticker next to end of the other part with the 1 sticker and screw them together. Repeat until you have a bed frame. All the holes line up; all the threads are good. They even include a hex key and a ratchet. A real ratchet that actually works. This is how it is supposed to be.
The bed is AMInG. I have to admit when it arrived I was surprised by how low it is to the floor, very zen Japanese style. Turns out its the perfect height from the ground for ALL the positions sturdy, doesnt creek. 10/10
Ive had a few mid range bed frames and sets over the years, mostly from places such as Ashleys furniture. This frame is surprisingly STURDY for the low cost, with no obvious or even light blemishes to be seen. Its very heavy, so that was the first indicator of quality for me. All parts and tools were included and labeled for set up. The booklet was alright as well, it didnt require any complex deciphering like the majority of my furniture purchases. This frame was set up in about 45 mins, breaks included. Put it through a series of tests after set up and it did not budge. Still surprised at the quality of this item, its more than worth it. The height is PERFECT. It looks great, and you would never know I purchased this at a great price off of So happy!
