    Not enough

Mostly a great bed, will hold up. My only problem is the s. They only provide enough s and pre/drilled holes so there is a large gap between them. All the mattresses I have want a max of a 3 inch gap so we had to buy more boards and make our own.

Not to tall not to small

Not to tall not to small. Got it for my 3 year old. Who was as excited as I was about the new big boy bed. I got him a 5 inch mattress frame to go with this junior loft. The rail around it is 8 to 9 inches . And as for me I was afraid for him to fall off so I made a good choice on getting him a 5inch mattress. No issues of him falling off. I sleep on it well, the bed holds up me the room on the bottom is perfect size. Get bed frame . Totally recommend.

Like the product but was missing 1 screw.

Looks good and was easy to put together but one screw was missing. May try to get it , but it looks complicated to get missing parts.

Beautiful bed but time consuming instructions

Picture/illustrated instructions can become complex for an item that has so many pieces and screws. But overall, its better and faster if you make this a two/person job when putting it together. Sturdiness seems good when on the bottom bunk. I have not used the top bunk yet. but Im a little nervous to use the top bunk. Overall,Im glad that I purchased it. Its really good for small kids.

    Couldve been better

The one major problem I have is that some of the wooden s were too short to fit the bed. I had to find them a hardware store to replace them

    Great Bunk!

Bought for grandkids, they havent used it yet, but I have no concerns that it will hold them. Seems very sturdy. I put it together, for the most part, by myself, a 57 yr old woman. Had to have my husband help a couple of times. It looks great!

They work , dont know for how long well see

3 stars so farr. Developed hair line cracks in the wood when assembling hand using manual hand tools . Not all the pieces lined up .1 piece of wood had a hole straight thru when it wasnt supposed to . The beds are functional for now. I honestly dont have too much confidence in this item I hope it proves me wrong . The bunk beds do feel very solid and sturdy.

Sturdy, nice looking bed. Pay close attention to details

I put this together on my own with 3 little kids and a black lab running around me while my husband was at work. It took me about 5 hours to assemble. Pay very close attention to which side bar goes into what part of the . I messed one up accidentally put the one for the ladder on the top bunk on the back side. I had to drill holes in the other board, or else I would have had to take almost the entire bed apart. It was 8:00 pm by this point and there was zero chance of me doing that. Some of the screws just do not want to go in. The top would strip out and I had to use my own wrench to twist them instead of the one that came with it. Some slid like in butter. It was all just chance. Very frustrating. Thats the only reason Im knocking off a star. The hardware could have been better quality. The bed is very sturdy compared to the bunk my kids had in the past. It doesnt rock. The beds are the same height when used as 2 twins which was important to me. They also smell OF WOOD. Which was also important to me. The last ones we had smelled like chemicals and we had to air the room for several days. So gross. It isnt soft wood that is easily dented. Very solid. It also is not untreated wood. It does have a clear coating over it so dont expect to paint them without sanding. Overall, we are very happy with it and plan to get the trundle because pulling my kids mattress out on carpet is actually kind of a pain because it is and there isnt really a place to grip it. Im sure the trundle would look more attractive as well.
