Its too small for an average sized cat (10lbs or more). Our cat barely fits! And forget about them using the cubbies bc they are amingly tiny! It also makes this terrible friction noise with any kind of movement the cats make. We are disappointed with this, but bc the cats have already started using it, we decided to keep it.
Edit: I managed to get it together after two hours. Part of that is my inexperience of putting things together, but part of it is because the thing was so difficult to assemble! Finally, I ignored the instructions of securing the two side pieces first and then the two white panels. They just wouldnt go in no matter what I did.
Instead, I put the little square together FIRST and THEN secured it to the frame. Much easierso why didnt the instructions say to do that? Thats what I get for trying to follow the rules, I suppose.
I know I said Id give it a 3 (maybe), but now that its together it looks nice. Really nice. But again: WHY so difficult?
Ive never wanted to cry or cuss more in my entire life. I CANNOT get the white pieces to slide down. Some of the sides are warped and swollen and the inside track just isnt smooth at all.
Im so very frustrated with this. IF I manage to get it together, I might bump up to a three star, but at this point I just want to smash it to pieces with a hammer.
Bought one of these for my 3 and 4 year old kittys, they love it so much that I bought 2 more for my grandkittys. I decided to leave the bottom enclosed part that velcros on and off. Gives them more room to play.
This is a nice cat tower. The cubes are a little small and my cats dont like them. I wish the middle platform was more open, but the cats like the top platform.
Very easy to assemble, just takes a little time. Note: I have a large car and the platforms really arent suited to her size. Although she loves the bed in the top level.
Unfortunately, arches on the bottom level are connected with USELESS Velcro strips. This part is a terrible design, the part isnt long enough to overlap and the Velcro is awful, no teeth in it at all.
I would return it, but it took so long to assemble Ill try to gift it to a smaller cat.
Absolutely perfect for our new kitten. He will grow into it. Is already using scratching Poles and just made it to top tower yesterday. I love clean lines of the wooden construction. Have purchased cat fleece to cover pillows for beds for extra comfort. Love this cat stand!
I live with six furballs who range from little slender cuties to blobs of fur who practically live in the food bowl. They absolutely adore this tree and choose it over the 8ft one in the same room almost every time. Sadly the larger ones are a little rough with it and have broken the metal hinges holding the scratch pad onto the base. Other than that I have no complaints!

Top platform too short to reach pole that secures it
Top platform did not reach across to opposit pole that would secure it
Too small for an adult cat

Love this Tree!
It is so easy to assemble. I took me no more than 25 minutes. Love the color and how elegant it looks. Super strong. Worth every penny!
Worth the money

Small, Sturdy, Clean Lines
