DO NOT TIGHTEN ANYTHING UNTIL THE END!

This bed was actually REALLY easy to put together.as long as you DONT tighten any of the screws until the end lol. I ordered 2 of them, so the second one went much more quickly. The first one took me about 2.5 hours because I had to keep loosening screws to get everything to fit properly, because it is all a VERY tight fit. I actually appreciate that, because it eases any worry about the sturdiness of the bed. MAKE SURE TO INVEST IN A HEX BIT SOCKET SET AND DRIVER if you dont already have one. I put the first one together with just the provided hex key, and the second one with the socket wrench, and the 2nd one was BY FAR much less wobbly. I went back and tightened the screws on the first one down with my wrench because of that. Over all, Id buy this specific product again if I needed to. As a side note, I have 8.5 ceilings and these are a bit taller than Id like, so please make sure to measure your ceiling before you make a decision. The measurements given in the listing pictures are true and accurate, so make sure to check them against your space before you buy. God bless!

    Missing hardware

Pieces not very well put together, had to recreate holes in order for the top bunk to be positioned correctly. Staircase screws were missing not enough supplied. Screws that were supplied were not numbered which made putting beds together take longer.

Nice for the price / wouldnt call it PURE white though

I have searched the internet for several months trying to find the perfect bunk bed for a 5 and 12 year old. I was slightly concerned that our mattresses that we already had would be too thick but theyre great. It feels fairly sturdy, just a little wiggly when someone is moving around on the top bunk. Its not terrible. Assembly definitely took longer than the 30 minutes as stated in the product description but it wasnt too difficult. Just time consuming to tighten all of those bolts with a tiny Allen wrench. Had all the pieces, the instructions, and all of the holes were where they were supposed to be. I havent noticed it to be creaky at all either. I will say that the color is definitely more of an off white/cream color rather than pure white. Overall, the quality is good for the price. I am satisfied.

    Cost effective solution for kids

Looks great, assembled in an evening (took the time to organize everything beforehand and it was stress free). One able bodied engineer husband with a very pregnant wife helping at a few key moments. We did purchase some thin plywood for the top bunk, we felt the memory foam mattress we put on top would be shredded by the rough slats, or small toys would fall through the little edge. Added some pipe insulation on the bottom bunk to prevent the bottom bunk resident from bonking their head on the wood of the top bunk. Of note, it took about a month for the paint to off/gas. Im the only one who noticed/was sensitive to this, Im pretty picky and nauseated by everything though. Neither kid needed to sleep in the room right away, so we just opened windows and kept fans on to assist with the process and didnt have anyone sleeping in there. Cant smell it now. It feels as sturdy as the furniture store models, for a fraction of the cost. My husband (190) has slept on the bottom bunk without issue. Ive been on the top bunk, but wouldnt really recommend adults climbing the ladder, its held together Ikea style and Im sure my husbands weight would crack it. Great value for the price. None of our pieces were cracked, all items needed included. Dont get me wrong / this isnt an heirloom piece, but we werent looking for something to last more than 10 years anyways

Get ready to work out every muscle and bone in your body!

I just knew that it would come at least halfway put together. Noooo it came in one box! When it came I said to myself, I said selfthis cant be the whole bed?! It was! Despite having to put it together piece by piece, I am happy with my purchase and my granddaughter loves her bunk bed!

    Patience needed

Overall it is a great buy but you definitely need patience to put together. My daughter loves it so thats all that matters.
