We ordered the Split Back Futon (with the rectangular legs) and received the Vintage model with round, lathe turned legs and other differences. I could see this being a problem if you want a certain decor. For us, this one will work. It is very firm; you wont like sleeping on it if you like a very soft mattress. But again, for us, we are very pleased with it at this price. The velvet is quite nice. Comfortable to sit on.
Love the color of this couch. The amount of sun in the room makes it appear goldenrod. Very easy to assemble and packaged well. The couch was wrapped in a mesh to protect the velvet cover in transit. Arms were tucked underneath the seat of the couch. Took less than 30 minutes to attach the arms and feet. The seat seems firm and supportive. Its not my everyday couch and will serve as a guest bed in the office when needed.
The fact that I assembled this couch all by myself with several neighbor kids and my own kids running around says a lot. Super easy to assemble. Very thoughtfully designed.
The bottom line is this couch looks awesome. Its perfect in the living room of my 1950s DC/area brick colonial with small rooms. Its soft as well.
It is NOT, however, comfortable in any way. Its like the perfect couch to have in one of those new but cheap boutique hotel rooms. For the price its a steal. But just know you will not be getting anything close to a feeling when you sit on it. I mainly got it for aesthetics and for some function without breaking the bank (while I wait for kids to get older so I can invest in a very nice couch again someday).
With a few tweaks this couch could be absolutely perfect. Definitely a more supportive back is a must for future design.
We just got it today but assembly was easy and it looks great. Its also the perfect combination of firmness and softness. My one callout is that the color is more olive than the forest in the photo. I actually really like that though.
Not the most comfy couch in the world but its really good looking and extremely soft and velvety to the touch. Easy to put together (comes folded in 116 lb box). The arms are stored inside. Back comes down easily to turn into a bed. Love it.
It only took about 30 minutes to put together with two people. Super easy assembly. The most time youll spend is tightening screws. Very Easy instructions and we really love the couch. Its pretty comfortable and we love the way it looks in our space. The seat is very deep and roomy as well. We really love it! Lets just hope our Cat doesnt destroy it!
Very please with this purchase. The is more rigid than expected, but this hasnt taken away from the comfort while sitting. We have not used it as a bed yet.

I like it. Color looks great in living room.
Its a very nice piece considering the price. I would buy again. Im 61 tall and can lay on it stretched out.
Beauty function combined!
Beautiful classy piece of furniture with added bonus of a sleeper. Makes a statement in a multi/purpose bedroom. Highly recommend!
Happy!
