The chair came in a destroyed box. The UPS delivery man waited at door until I could inspect contents. The box was retaped and had huge gaps, exposing the chair. I didnt have to breakdown the box for recycling bin. It was done for me in transit.
The chair itself is great, perfect for where it is in the living room.
Perfect for the corner of my guest room! Its low profile makes the room feel spacious. Its a comfortable chair but not made for a taller, heftier body type.
I am very pleased- easy to put together and I get compliments on them all the time. Pretty blue color, great velvet feel. I use them for my office at work. Not a chair I would use to kick my feet back and watch tv in. Sturdy.
I purchased 2 of these ($210 each) and 2 matching side chairs ($200 pair). The swoop arm assembly very easy. I read many comments by previous purchasers, so my expectations were not inflated. Chairs arrived fast but in a bitter winter cold snap, so I left in boxes overnight and assembled gradually over 2 days, waiting to do final tightening so every part was room temp. All together assembly was 20 min/chair. All hardware included and fine. Fabric is not luxurious so do not expect velvet as description indicates; I liken it to canvas with design printed on fabric, not woven into it. I had 2 phenomenal side chairs ($1,200 each) with silk and velvet fabric and inlaid wood. I recently got 2 puppies and they wanted to chew on the legs. So I gave the fancy chairs to a neighbor and replaced with the swoop arm chairs; I dont care if the dogs demolish these. The chairs look wonderful and I find them very comfortable (I am 6+ ft tall and 125 lbs). I did no in-person comparison shopping at furniture stores as I would normally have done if covid was not a major concern; I am immuno-compromised due to infusion treatments which did a number on me. Advice: have realistic (not fancy or luxurious) expectations. I do believe the price I paid was a bit too high, but delivery was fast and I am satisfied overall. Color is not as shown
Its a nice chair and I am keeping it BUT the legs are not the right color.. going to have to alter them. Disappointing.
