The delivery man offered to set this 95 lb package wherever I wanted it. Just inside the door, is fine! It took me a couple weeks to recruit a friend to help assemble. Although its possible for one person to assemble, I recommend two. All the pieces were labeled and the instructions were clear. One photo had the end pieces reversed, but that was relatively minor. Assembly was pretty smooth going by the instructions. There was just enough glue, but I used a little Elmers to eliminate passing the small container back and forth. One of the side panels left a small gap when the top was installed. The screws for the front door hinges were a little tough to get started so I used a punch to make a deeper hole. After assembly, the unit looks very nice and I received compliments about it.
I purchase this cabinet in stone grey to fill in an area below built/in shelves. I couldnt be more pleased with how thus cabinet looks and its sturdiness. It is pressboard coveted by a laminate overlay, but it almost looks made to match with my cedar shelves that ate stained light grey. I put this together mostly by myself and it was quite east, though did take a couple of hours. To attach the doors to the front, I put two pieces of cardboard under the doors and it held them to the perfect height for installation.
Love this stand and it was great quality minus the multiple pieces that came damaged. If it was a simple piece to return I would have returned it due to how many spots were cracked
For the price, I like the look and the size is perfect for the space we have for it. I knew it didnt have a back from the photos but didnt take into account how much the cords would show through including the TV, cable, and DVR cords. Ive made them as tidy and pushed down as far as possible and am using some knick knacks on the bottom shelf to block some of the view of the cords. Id give it a 5 if it had a back.
It took me about 2 hours to put together with very little help. The screws were mislabeled, I had to figure it out. The instructions are pretty basic, you have to use some logic and common sense.
I own two one father grey and one lighter. My only issue is the one peace had a break that I had glue before I could put the top on. Excellent purchase
This is a great TV stand! I got a lot of compliments on the way it looks. It was not hard to assemble but the top piece did bow a little when I got it. Did not have any problems putting it together though and it turned out great.
Im a senior, put it together my self, going to glue it to make it more sturdy, I like to move my furniture around.love the looks of it an get lots of compliments on it.
